I took a job to make Diamond Select Captain Rex mini bust statue into a full figure.
Basically grinding off the base and adding the legs. This is the video I sent to my client to see if he was fine with the overall pose and proportion. He seemed to be happy.
Boba Fett mini bust by Gentle Giant!
Continuing individual closeups of my mini busts✨While I like different versions of Boba for different reasons, I do think his TBOBF costume is especially kickass. I love how the black undersuit really makes his iconic armor pop, I love the kama, I just love the overall silhouette and how it compliments Temuera Morrison and emphasizes his strength.
It's also got very different details compared to the Mando S2 version, especially in the belt area, so this bust is an especially good art reference for those parts!
Boba is my 2nd heaviest mini bust after Scorch, but he feels in proportion to the others, he's just really Thicc✨

Picked this up from a local comicon recently.
The model itself really needed a bit of cleaning up, with bumps on the underside n stuff, but I was too lazy to sort it.
BUT.
She's done. For now.
Spent most of the day on and off working on her. And I've never had this much fun painting a model before. Tried out some shading and got it fairly subtle on the flesh.
Definitely need to touch up the horns and maybe add some highlights to the gold. Might also make the nails black instead of red, but yeah.
