Hallo friends, had a bit of a get away with the bf Monday and Tuesday. Gawd so much driving lol like 11 hrs worth until we actually got into the hotel. We went to a wolfdog sanctuary I booked the interactive tour for his belated bday present. We then drove to Canmore for lunch and then towards BC to see Emerald lake. Sadly it was a little too crowded and I was exhausted and didn’t want to do the full loop also bf isn’t exactly fit and didn’t want to push him too hard even tho he said he was ok consequences would have occurred case in point when we walked from dinner back to hotel 🤣🤣. We went to a German inspired restaurant near the fairmont in banff and the food did not disappoint. With the hot tub section closed in the hotel we got a jacuzzi suite and HELL yes so worth. We only used it twice but since we were only staying the night I’d say that’s pretty good. I’m a little sad it was a short trip but I’m hoping we get to go on more in the future.
