Sunlight + translucent hoops = my faaaaave always. 💙
Minis are my fave right now.
working on ghosting isolations 👻🔘
Trying to learn the Behind the Back Weave with 2 hoops is driving me crazy! But I am determined to get it. I can do each hand separately, but its making them flow together and not getting stuck/clashing behind my back which is tricky. Because its behind me I obviously can't properly see what I'm doing, making it harder to troubleshoot. Going to film myself from behind to try and work out what I'm doing! And continuing to drill, drill, drill... Doubles/minis take a lot of patience, I didn't quite realise how much. But I like the challenge.
Hoop tricks
Finally 'clicked' properly with learning the reverse thread the needle. Sweeeeet! That, and I learnt the front waist wrap. Backwards waist wrap is next on my list. It's still too cold here to venture outside with my new hoops so I'm sticking indoors with my 20" minis. I'm gonna be ready for Spring though, by time I finally shoot a video I should have a load of neat tricks to showcase in my flow :)
1/100 day hoop challenge
Day 1 complete! I spent a couple of hours working to re-learn the three beat weave while sticking my hands in and doing all the surface switches. I had gotten in the bad habit of only carrying the hoop on my thumbs, and now I'm finally starting to correct it! I made a lot of progress. I've got the basic movements down, but it needs a lot of smoothing out. One of my minis is all warped and has a dent in it, which I think it making things a lot harder.
