The other mini orchid (packed separately) is looking good remounted onto an old piece of mopani wood from an aquarium I had. I can't seem to keep the moss from drying out for anything, which is frustrating, but otherwise happy with it

New orchid alert! My first mini phalaenopsis.
Apparently these are much easier to bloom and overall easier culture, let’s see how this goes. 🌸
I’m a big fan of thrifting for plant pots since I find that sometimes I will see styles of cover pots I would not imagine of. My latest adventure for cover pots/plastic potting pots yielded a better surprise; an orchid pot! Safe to say I snatched it up and took it home. My orchids have been hanging out on a tray in plastic pots and no matter what I did I could not make it look pleasing to the eye. I also have been wanting to plant all of them together; the mother and her two keiki. I had a chance to examine the roots of the mother orchid, and trim back some more roots that simply did not make it. Now I am so content with the little arrangement.

Hi! For maybe a month or so now, I have been looking after a mini orchid.
That is how her flower came in. Turned sideways like that.
She is my first orchid that I am taking care of and forget what some people have said about their leaves. I thought that maybe some of you guys could help me?
Her leaves look a dark green to me. Is that normal? She stays in an East facing window.
