Thought #2

     How would Harry have Y/N listen to his album for the first time? Would he be with her, or would he leave her alone to focus? He’s said before that he feels awkward when he’s with people while they listen for the first time, but would that be different with his girl? Would he be comfortable enough with her to be with her? Would she be comfortable enough for him to be there?

     Harry would leave the decision to Y/N, fully okay with being with her while she listens, or to give her the space to process all that she was hearing. He would make the listening process more about her than himself, even though it was his album. He had worked hard for months, and he knew that she would be proud of him whether she liked the sound or not. He put his heart into this album and she would be respectful of that, so he wasn’t as worried about letting her hear it as he was for the rest of the world. 

     She would likely choose to have him with her, but she wouldn’t be talking much with him during the listening process. One of Harry’s favorite things about Y/N is that she was an attentive listener. She preferred to absorb everything she heard and take it in before saying anything, much like he did. The two of them would sit in the studio, Y/N in his lap as the speakers began playing the first track, and she would simply listen. 

     While her reaction may have been far less than glamorous, Harry knew that she was trying to focus on all of the sounds that were incorporated into the song along with the lyrics. He could tell that she was paying good attention and while it would make most people nervous, it made him to be more in awe of her. Everything she did, no matter how slight, he noticed and cherished. 

     At the end of each song, she would make him pause the playback and ask him something about the song. If she didn’t have questions, she would tell him how much she enjoyed it, and how happy she was for him. Seeing him happy with his work was the best part of it all in her opinion. She loved the way his eyes would light up every time he answered a question or gave her a backstory to the next song. He loved this album because it was his own mind being portrayed in music. It was him.

     Once they had played through the album entirely, Y/N would sit silently in amazement before letting all of her emotions begin to flow out. While she was listening, she had held her composure. But now that it was over, she could fully begin to express her love and adoration for Harry and his work. She would wipe at her eyes and shake her head in amazement, telling him just how proud she was of him. She felt his emotions through every word, and she couldn’t be happier with anyone or anything else. 

     The grin couldn’t be wiped off of Harry’s face as he hugged her and thanked her for being so supportive of him. There was already a strong bond between the two before, but it had doubled in intensity if that could even be considered possible. Having this new connection only made them love each other more, and Harry couldn’t be more grateful for having such a supportive woman to call his own.

I still remember the fic request wanting to kill the protagonist by LIs just to prove their love for the player...

There is a reason I filter or block Non-MC fics—not all of them are bad! But I'm not trying to personally scan each fic to see if it's not an internalized misogyny murder boner over a fictional character just bc the player cannot relate.

And let's be honest, if it was acceptable to hate on other player's OCs with zero backlash, there would be some diabolical fanfics going around too.

Omggggg Sasamiya week is almost here and I ain’t at my house where my art supplies are so I can’t drawwww nooooooo! And I’m a traditional artist at heart so I can’t do it digitally this timeeee. And if I do I’m not gonna be satisfiedddd.. ughhhhh why did the art block attack me so?

Anyhow! Just needed to get that off my chest.
