I’m running a mini-marathon the day after I finish my doctorate at the beginning of May.
Am I crazy? Yes, but we knew that.
Am I going to look damn good at graduation?
Yes, bitch.

I'm aiming for a mini-marathon, but...
... can I even run?
I'm going to do a medical examination on the 5th of July - a holter, more precisely. And then my cardiologist will tell me if my heart can take running or not. And if I can... I really want to improve my endurance. Last time I checked how many minutes I could run without stopping, my limit was 6 minutes. But that was years and years ago. So now... it's probably a lot less.
This is what I'm going to try to do on the 5th of July:
(2 minutes jogging + 3 minutes walking fast) x 5 + 5 minutes of cooldown
That will be: 10 minutes of running, 15 minutes of walking fast and 5 minutes of walking normally
Until that day, I will keep on working out on my indoor bike and on Ring Fit Adventure (an exercise game for the Nintendo Switch).
PS: The competition I'm talking about, the mini-marathon, is of 6 km (3.73 miles) and it's in September.
Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice’s Mini Marathon for Kids took place in Royal Greenwich Park yesterday. Sponsored by John Payne, the event was a huge success, with 1000 runners, and huge crowd of supporters.
Every runner received a medal and a John Payne sports kit bag. In addition, we gave out nearly 800 “LOVE GREENWICH” cotton shopping bags to supporters.
I just finished my mini-marathon of Over The Garden Wall, and I'm crying SO hard. This has absolutely nothing on Bee and Puppycat, I should have spend my weekend watching THIS. I mean, yeah, BAPC is funny and everything, but Deckard has nothing on Gregory. There is absolutely no other creation Cartoon Network can make that will ever top this. And the music is truly lovely! I see why people love this, I do too! The ending was wonderful, and I think a continuation would just be a waste of my heartfelt tears. (But I would still love one)
See where it all began with the first SIX episodes of Three's Company starting at 1pm/12c!
