NOT TAKING ANYMORE REQUESTS!
“Oh, Christ,” Allison throws her hands up in the air, rolling her eyes as she sits down on the steps. You offer her a sympathetic smile, sitting beside her as she buries her face in her hands, shaking her head as her siblings bicker on about what to do about the Commission.
You nudge your knee up against hers, and she peeks up at you as you lean closer to her. Trying to lighten the mood, you tease, “So, uh, you weren’t kidding when you told me your family was weird.”
Allison snorts, letting out a sigh as she looks up at her siblings. Before reuniting with them, you were all she had. The first friend she made, the first person she found comfort in. Naturally, you got sucked into all the craziness that her and her siblings attracted, and now, it seemed as though you were all wanted by various organisations.
“You must wish that you never met me, huh?” Allison asks, only partly joking, but she avoids eye contact as she’s almost afraid to hear your response. She looks down at her hands, nervously wringing them together, her thoughts racing as you remain silent in response.
“The past few weeks have been... I can’t even begin to describe.” you let out a chuckle, and Allison sneaks a glance up at you. You reach out, placing your hand over hers, before continuing, “But I wouldn’t have it any other way, Allison. I’m happy you came into my life when you did.”
Allison smiles gratefully at you, feeling oddly at ease despite the horrible situation you’re all stuck in. Nodding towards the television, which drones on about your wanted status, you ask, “Do you think we’ll find a way to get out of this one?”
Allison pauses, before admitting, “To be honest, I don’t like our odds.”
You nod, and Allison is quick to grab your hands in hers. You turn to face her, and she reassures you, “But whatever happens, y/n, we’re in it together.”
You smile at this, knowing that no matter what the future brings, you’ll feel at ease knowing Allison is at your side. Giving her hand a little squeeze, you echo, “Together.”
