I dug myself into this hole and I’ll keep on going until I drown from the rain or the soil that caves in.

Just a bunch of sketches for my Spamtenna fanchildren: now including the oldest sibling, MINIM! totes not inspired by Static Miku, noooooooo, not at all! (she took most of the height in the genes)

Regarding Minim and Liider though, here’s more word vomit about my thoughts - I might make this set in an AU where Tenna and Spamton disappeared amidst caring for the two in their Big Shot era, leaving the two siblings under the care of any employee that’s kind enough to take them under their roof (no idea who yet) OR leaving them by themselves - Minim wants to honor her fathers’ and remind the world the entertainment they brought through her own ways, contradicting Liider’s own path - Due to Minim being busy with either providing them both or continually grieving their fathers, this resulted in Liider just thinking to himself and Fucking Around and Finding Out alone - This caused him to have a mindset that makes him believe he must work things out by himself (most of the time), and while this lead to his success it also led to his internalized paranoia - He knows Something and Minim doesn’t, but she notices that it makes him more distant and tight-lipped, this makes her scared and worried and caused a lot of private arguments when they meet - Minim is almost as ruthless as Liider to ensure that she reaches the top and to make herself known but is more forgiving and empathic, it’s just a very competitive field unlike the cutthroat environment Liider fostered - They’re both haunted by the legacies of their parents but Minim takes it as hope and encouragement while Liider is having a Bad Time. - He doesn’t want his family to be involved in this. - Trying to figure out his suit but decided for it to just be simple, colors can be easily swapped Aaaaand word vomit done, I have Other Thoughts I haven’t drawn yet and might try and make a cohesive comic for this AU that focuses on Liider’s downfall :D

Battered, incoherent-looking and humble it may be, but LHD 244 is a treasure trove for musicologists. It contains a mixture of musical treatises, copied in full, and notes from other sources: in total, parts of about forty texts, mostly dealing with musical theory, in Latin and Italian. It opens with a forty-page introduction to counterpoint (the art of harmony, then in its infancy), then covers the notation of melody and rhythm using methods that foreshadow today's system of quavers, crotchets and minims.

Occasional pictures and diagrams have practical applications: a striking red and black line drawing of a hand covered with musical symbols is an example of a 'guidonian hand', a visualisation that helps unconfident sight-readers, while a schematic diagram shows the pipes of an organ above a familiar black-and-white keyboard.
