Page 1. --- John Novack Hurt on Claims in Deloro --- SKULL FRACTURED, CHIN BLOWN OFF ---- Injured Man in Precarious Condition in Porcupine Hospital ---- PORCUPINE, Feb. 7. - John Nevack is in the hospital as a result injuries received while working on his claims in Deloro yesterday afternoon. Novack was sinking shaft and the supposition is that his pick struck a piece of unexploded dynamite. In the explosion following Novack's skull was fractured by flying rock and his scalp, hands and legs were lacerated, both eyes injured, his nose cut and a portion of his chin blown off. Drs. MeLean and Rogers went out to the property last night and returned this morning with the injured man whose condition is precarious.
