Another KH Headcanon. This Time Laced with an Unpopular Opinion.

This is by far my favorite Kingdom Hearts Headcanon I came up with.

Alright y'all. Remember that scene in KH3 in Final World!Sanfransokyo when Sora and Mininort have their confrontation and Mininort's “there's no saving you” line? (If any of yall have stalked my blog...I think you know where I'm going with this...maybe)

Sora has the Master's Defender keyblade at this point right? Canonically he currently wields it after saving Aqua from the Realm of Darkness (even if it does turn into whatever you're currently using).

What if...

"All that galivanting through the Sleeping Worlds, and yet you learned nothing?" Mininort says with his usual snark.

Sora summons Masters Defender and points it directly at Mininort, stopping the other boy in his tracks.

Mininort's cocky smile disappears instantaneously and his mouth drops.

Mininort looks at Sora and for a split second, he doesn't see Sora's light blue eyes, sparkling with confident determination burning into him. Instead, Eraqus' dark eyes cut into his soul, nearly suffocating him with the disappointment they hold.

He gasps.

"Are you?" Sora asks tentatively.

Mininort shakes his head. "You just, reminded me of someone..."

Sora tilts his head and Mininort gave a small, empty chuckle, regaining his usual demeanor.

Sora saw Mininort's lips moving but his mind couldn't keep up with his words, too preoccupied with Mininort holding out his hand and Sora realizes why the other boy seems so familiar.

He nearly slapped himself for not putting it together. Silver hair glowing in the light, a firm hand holding out to him, a smirk laced in darkness...Sora didn't see Mininort.

He saw Riku back on Destiny Islands, asking Sora to join him to the outside world as Darkness formed around them.

"No..." Sora whispered.

"What are you?" Mininort's voice cut through Sora's daze and he saw the Master's Defender, hanging by his side.

Sora sends away his keyblade and smirks.

"You worried about me, now? Besides, you remind me of someone too."

Guys. I just. Mininort reminds Sora of Riku and Sora reminds Mininort of Eraqus. It's a quartet of gay and I'm living for it.

Here’s a Happy Kingdom Hearts Head-Canon

Yes, Young Xehanort and Young Eraqus totally had "their" areas throughout Scala ad Caelum. And maybe they'd sneak away when they're supposed to be out training to their special, hidden corners that's just for them because it’s just those two...away from the pressures of training...where they can just be together and enjoy each other's company for 5 minutes.

Yes, that area where they played chess in KH3 was totally one of their secret areas.

Yes, there's an area in Scala Young Eraqus found and absolutely needs to show Mininort because "the sky is so clear and beautiful and dontcha just wanna take a break from reality" and Mininort simply can't say no to Eraqus' playful smile as he reluctantly closes his book and follows him through the halls and up to the balcony, only to be consumed by the vivid colors of red, purple, orange, swirling together and meeting the oceanic horizon. In that moment, "taking a break from reality" seemed like the perfect idea to Mininort that he momentarily forgot how to breathe.

I mean...Dark Road basically confirmed those two like to go off on their own together anyways. There's absolutely no way the both of them don't know the ins and outs of Scala like the back of their hands.

ok this is DEFINITELY an unpopular kh opinion

Ever since KH3 came out i can’t stop thinking about the idea of a young xehanort and sora ship??? And I’m a pretty hard-core SoKai and SoRiku shipper.

But-

Y’all you’ve seen how they’ve interacted throughout kh3...like in toy box. TOY BOX! (don’t get me started on their interactions in the final world!sanfransokyo)

Mininort: I have much to observe, I can’t let you leave yet. Sora: Its us you want! *quickly looks at donald and goofy* leave the others out of it! What Mininort SHOULD have said: You honestly think I give a damn about the annoying duck and dog? It’s you I’m interested in.

It practically writes itself.

Furthermore that little slow-mo scene with sora and mininort; Find the hearts joined to yours. and the TONE he used??? Like that wasn’t an “im being a bad guy evil voice go burr” tone.

How much do you guys wanna bet that mininort views sora as a younger eraqus due to their light-filled demeanors and mininort reminds sora of kh1 riku at least subconsciously????

Guys. There’s potential here. Just. Potential.

I will happily add a more in depth explanation of my thoughts on this sometime down the road. I just wanna get my thoughts out  about this.
