i do love those posts that are like "it's okay to start over as any age" because it IS that is true.

However.

It can become more difficult as you get older, particularly if your desired way to start over involves, say, significant additional education or otherwise requires money. And if you don't have supports to do it, it is likewise harder.

And depending on what you're interested in the chance if attaining it may be fairly risky.

And sometimes, you know, it isn't worth it.
