THON2019
Our high school gets the chance to come to Penn State’s THON for about 20 hours. It was my first time at THON and it was amazing! It was so fun to see what it was like and I had so much fun being their with the leadership team and a couple people from my own committee.
MILES FOR COINS
This was from a school event we held where for a couple days we had people bring in coins in hopes we get enough to make lines that wrapped around our school that tallied up to a mile. We came in at 3am to start setting up the coins and got over a mile. What was nice was I got to skip all my classes and sit by the coins to make sure no one ruined them.
GOLD OUT
This was our first Mini-THON event, where we hosted a Gold Out during one of the home football games. All the student sections wear gold.
MINI-THON NIGHT
These were taken the night of our Mini-THON night. The first picture on the left is us standing with our total. This was taken seconds after we all found our for the first time how much we raised that year. The second picture is of us all together huddling as we take in the moments we have spent together as a team before we found out our total.
