OK so if you’re not a fan of reading all the way through we’re gonna skip this one bc my combined work and sleep schedules have me up for 21 hours at some points and i’m just not going to explain things that i’ve already elaborated on in this post OK??? OK.

i’m just going to put it on the table that danny has a type. this has been established, we’ve all known, he’s stated it himself, it’s not news. ergo, i don’t consider it hate to point out that MOST of the people he featured in his post share similar features. did it need to be said? probably not, but i really don’t consider it to be incredibly “out there” or mean-spirited or terrible, especially when you consider that he himself has stated on several occasions that he’s “insanely badly shallow”.

HOWEVER, death threats? repeated anon hate? GROW UP. we’ve all got types. if this is the biggest thing that you’ve got going on right now you need to turn off the computer and go outside. there is NO NEED to send hate to danny, or to anyone on his list. it’s not necessary, it’s not helpful, it’s not going to fix anything. not that anyone was asking for anything to be fixed? danny’s into twinks, i really don’t see the issue here. again we’ve all got types, danny’s just more up front about his.

finally the last thing i want to say is that this entire episode has shown me that regardless of which side you’re on some of y’all care WAY too much about tumblr status. some of y’all seem to be holding danny on this pedestal of “he can do no wrong”, and some of y’all really want to make him into the next paul brother. NEITHER OF THESE IS THE CORRECT ANSWER. if you really care that much, you need to learn to find a middle ground, and again, i suggest if your critical thinking hasn’t developed enough to do that then you really don’t need to be on tumblr.
