I think that was against my mom when I was 21 years old? Hahaha… I wanted to enter the police academy after finishing my Criminology studies and she was against it, but I had to.

Mammon: When were you most greedy? For what?

At the age of 17, I grew greedy for justice, and I still do.

Hey, nice to meet you. I hope you end up having a great Valentine’s Day.

Jasper blinked at the pink domo and smiles softly and wonders if his daughter, Yujin, would love it. He thinks back to his own favorite teddy bear, Pinkeu Pinkeu, and laughs softly, thinking it was the domo version of Pinkeu Pinkeu. He smiles brightly and holds the bear and reaches over, taking a chocolate strawberry into his mouth, taking a bite and quickly licks his lips to prevent any juices from running down his chin. “Oh my! Thank you so much. I wish I had somethihng for you, too. But otherwise, thank you again!”

     ‘Well then, I guess this is it,’ he told himself. After fixing the stray hair that had escaped from his neatly styled coif and readjusting the necktie of his suit, he checked himself out in the mirror one last time before he made his way out of his one bedroom apartment. Today was the day where he would meet up with the mysterious individual whom he was blindly set up with for Valentine’s Day. Although he wasn’t necessarily looking forward to it, much thanks to a mutual friend of the two, he didn’t want to show up looking like a desperate scrub.

     After all, he did have an upstanding reputation to uphold.

     Grabbing the keys to his black Audi S5 coupe and his outwear, he opened the front door ready to meet the person only to notice there was a delivery waiting for him. Resting right beside the entrance was a small box. There was no note attached though Woobin didn’t seem to mind that at all. He had become accustom to receiving anonymous letters and parcels at his apartment due to his work as a consulting detective. However, that does not mean he wasn’t take by surprise each time.

     Curious to see what the box may contain, he cautiously opened it to reveal its contents. The inside revealed half a dozen chocolate cupcakes with what appeared to be strawberry frosting. There even was a chocolate covered strawberry to top each of the six cupcakes. “How festive for Valentine’s Day,” he mused, putting the lid back on. As he retreated back into his apartment, he put the cupcakes in the refrigerator so they wouldn’t go bad while he was away. While he was there he picked up a post-it note and scribbled a quick message.

To whom it may concern, Although there was no note attached to the parcel that I had received, I just wanted to say thank you for delivering me those chocolate covered strawberry cupcakes. It wasn’t necessary for you to go out of your way to either make or give me them, but I do appreciate the kind gesture on this holiday. May you have a Happy Valentine’s day.      Placing it on the front of his door, he left the note in case the anonymous sender decided to come back. He wanted to let whoever sent them know he appreciated it.

Minah and Soojung || Closed

Scream:My character has caused yours to scream out for some reason

It was one of those days where Minah felt sneaky and mischievous, picking on and teasing whoever was around her. It had gotten to the point that those who lived with her had kicked her out of the house for the day, telling her not to come back until she could ‘act like a civilized member of the household’. With a roll of her eyes, she texted a number of her friends asking to come over, with only one responding immediately. With a new destination and a spring in her step, she set off for Soojung’s. Minah had gotten to know her through different shows and photoshoots, though the two hadn’t ever really worked with one another before. Their personalities clicked rather well (on days that Soojung could tolerate Minah) and they had formed a semblance of friendship. With ideas in mind, Minah stopped off at a quick gag shop and then continued on her way to her friends house. She was greeted like usual with a warm smile, a ‘hello, how are you?’ and the two eventually settled in for a movie: Soojung sitting on the floor with Minah resting on the couch above her. Halfway through, Minah finally took out the item she’d bought and gently dropped it onto her friends shoulder, giving a fake scream and a point. “Oh my god, Soojung! You have a spider on your shoulder!” She watched as the girl screamed and slapped her shoulder, the toy skittering across the room. Everything was silent for a split second before Minah began laughing and Soojung realized what had happened, giving her friend a not so gentle slap on the leg.

Soojung was at her own little apartment. Laying on her couch with her dog spread over her stomach and watching TV completely bored. When her phone beeped warning that she got a message she quickly put her dog down and reached for it. Her spirit lifted when she saw Minah wanted to come over. She replied telling her yes and sending her address. She quickly got out to the nearest convenience store to buy more snacks before she got there. She bought bread, coke, another bottle of grape juice and ingretients to prepare sandwiches. 

Once she was home she started working on their snack and when she was over someone knocked on her door. She knew exactly who it was. She opened the door with a warm smile on her lips to greet the other girl. Minah was a bit crazy and funny to be around even if they didn't knew each other that well. She hoped she could get closer to her through this visit. They were going to watch a movie. 

Soojung was fully focused on the movie when suddenly Minah screamed on the couch above and warned her about a spider. Soojung's body stiffened. She looked at her shoulder and the black shape made her scream and slap it away as strong she could. It was quiet for a second and Soojung wondered if she had killed the spider when she realized that the spider was only a toy. She narrowed her eyes at Minah and slapped her leg "Yah! Bang Minah, how can you do this to me?" she tried to keep a serious expression but she couldn't help but laugh with the other.

      They'd been hovering outside for hours now. At first, Lina had just thought it was a coincidence, two men in smart, official looking suits pacing up and down the road. But now, it seemed painfully obvious that they were not loitering by accident. And although she couldn't be certain, she was highly aware of their similarity in dress to her fathers old uniform. She'd been far too lucky to escape unnoticed so far, had survived too long without a sharp reminder that she couldn't let herself get too settled in one place, lest she be fished out of her hiding place and thrown back into her cage, this time with no key. 

     Lina started thinking. She had to leave the shop to get back home - and thinking that, it was a huge relief that it wasn't her home they were outside - but leaving required walking straight past them. She be recognized immediately if her father had done his job as well as he usually did. She had to cover herself in some way. Leave when I a group of others did, perhaps strike up a random conversation to keep her head turned from prying eyes. And when a group of three or four people stood from their table and headed to towards the door, she didn't give herself chance to think of another plan. She slipped out behind them, and with no better option presenting itself, threw herself at an unassuming passer by. Lina swallowed her embarrassment and made sure she was facing away from the suspicious looking men, angling the other girl whilst still giving her a hug. "I'm so sorry, please play along, I can explain later." she whispered frantically, before raising her voice and attempting to distance both of them from the exit of the shop. "I missed you so much, it's so great to see you! Are you alright?"
