onyx is kind of a recluse in a way. at least, he doesn’t actively seek out any type of relationship with others. he spends most of his time post-loss wandering on his own. although, he sorta ends up in the worst spots at the wrong times often, and gets into trouble a lot as a result. it doesn’t help that he just continues doing this though, despite the physical alterations he often gets into in these situations.

this song specifically i envision him during moments where he’s visiting bars. he develops a habit of going to them often during the period where he is grieving most. he usually keeps to himself during these moments, just because he generally finds everyone else there annoying, but has been guilty of getting into fights (and sometimes eventually kicked out) because bar environments don’t mix well with his anger.

I FOUND A HOME!

it's literally almost double my old rent but it's an apartment all my own. and i can make it cute.

i feel really good. 48 hours ago my world was uprooted and i (by total fluke and by headbutting craigslist at 4am) found a new spot almost immediately, while simultaneously working 12 hour shifts. so much went wrong and i smoothed it out. i carried my lucky chunk of citrine around with me today which is superstitious and silly but i also feel like it helped and so did all the special moon stuff happening tonight!!!!!!! (not in some supernatural way, but in that just knowing about it helped me feel a little more confident.)  i am super manic and still can’t eat or sleep or focus on anything except what my next step should be. at least twice today i became very sad and cried, but only for a few seconds. it has made me extremely productive. i move in on sunday.  i’m not looking forward to coming down from this but i hope i have time to at least settle into my new home before i become very, very sad.

Thinking about a swap au where Norah becomes The Whisperer

Minor spoilers for PD/William's backstory in case you haven't seen it

I'm imagining William mentions to the UPP that he saw something blue and floating on the woods. On her way home that night Norah notices the same thing. She weighs her options, either leaving it be and waiting to investigate it with her friends, or take a risk and figure out what it is before it's gone. With a deep breath she decides to take that risk. She doesn't intend on going far, but the wisp leads her deeper and deeper into the woods without her realizing. And before she notices where exactly it led her, she slips and falls into the river.

Still thinking about what would happened after that, but for the purpose of this AU she ends up in PD so it'd be similar to what happened to William.

if you could do a setting swap of any two campaigns, what would you pick? (like the events of canon play out just adapted to the new setting)

Hmm... I think Prime Defenders but in Riptide. Which I know we've already have the What Ifs, but in this scenario consider three young pirates destined to become the next pirate lords. I think that'd be really cool!

I think Dakota would have a connection to the Navy like Jay. Also, red hair. And I feel like he wouldn't be the first to jump at being a pirate, probably thinking they're evil cause of his upbringing. But of course his good friends convince him that they're doing more good than the Navy

William could be so fun with like an undead pirate angle. (Newest riptide EP spoilers!!) And also with like the Dread Queen now being the lady of death, William could tooootally be her warlock!

And Vyncent is a water genasi. He is the fish out of water in every universe! He's not the chosen one or anything, he gets the same storyline as in PD, just instead of being brought to another world he gets lost and ends up in the Oversea.

"But I'll know" I think a lot about how UPP must've felt after William left. I can't remember if they knew he got powers and became a super hero or not, or if they think he died, but either way I don't think they would've let go of the fact he was gone now. If prime defenders ever comes back I pray for UPP to be brought up and become a plot point.
