Congrats to MOBB! I know it was just three days ago when YG Ent. was dropping tracks of this team unit yet I know its already gaining a lot of attention and hopefully it will be successful (well I think it is, already! knowing that the tracks are well-received). YG said he doesn’t care about the charts which really amazed me because that only means that he really just wants to let everyone know of these guys talents. I love that Mino and Bobby released individual singles which allowed them to show who they are as an artist and what makes them different as individual rappers.

Bobby’s Holup is catchy that I instantly went LSS the very first time I listened to it. There’s something about Bobby’s voice that makes me happy. Upbeat music suits his voice so well.

Mino’s Body is different and totally contrasting than that of Bobby’s. Mino’s voice is deep and sexy which really fits the song. It has that Zayn Malik’s TiO vibe (the lyrics are kind of similar too). Mino can both sing and rap well which was really showcased well in this track.

And while the two of them have different style in their raps and music, they jammed so well in both Hit Me and Full House that the result is super LIT💥 My personal fave is Hit Me because it is so YG, especially with the MV. You will never get wrong with the usual YG vibe that its a proven fact (Bigbang’s Last Farewell, 2ne1’s I Don’t Care). Of course, I will not just pass with CL’s cameo in Full House MV! You feel that warm YG love if one YG artist supports another YG artist. It’s so family of them! (They always have and they always will).

I am happy that YG is letting his artists do alternate comebacks and releases every month. At least fans will not be too tired and bored to wait for their faves. While there are a lot of kpop groups out there other than YG, its not that easy waiting for comebacks of your biases especially if you are just a YG stan. Everything YG is what Kpop is for me! Waiting for 2ne1 to be back feels like forever 😭 so it helps that other YG artists are filling up the emptiness you have (now I’m talking like such a mad fan here! Huhu). Dara is busy with a new show here in the Phils, but I know it will not be that long and hopefully after that, 2ne1 is back! 🙏
