Suede’s Anime Thoughts   6/12/2015

Hey this is Suede from Mint Condish Productions here to give the viewers some brief weekly reviews. So you know I am only doing some of the current dubbed series on Funimation until Summer 2015 anime comes out, then I'll start on the subtitled simulcasts. I’m only watching anime that I am interested in, if you have a suggestion then let us know!So right now I caught up on two animes, lets get to it.

BLOOD BLOCKADE BATTLEFRONT Episode 5

PROS: Great Action Packed episode, BBB is on a role with creating new characters that are just awesome. The new character(s) introduced on this episode were fun but Lucky is still the best. This episode also had a Twins reference! Got to love that

CONS: I still want a story, I feel at episode 5 we should have more of a concrete story. Characters are still being established and some characters just aren’t that fleshed out. It took a few episodes but we finally see the deal between Leo and White but what happened in between? What is Libra going to do about the huge problem with the vampires in the last episode?

SERAPH OF THE END Episode 5

PROS: Things are heating up, the cast of characters are a very unlikely team that are very fun to watch interact. The episode ends with one hell of a cliffhanger that will want you to see the next episode. I do like how Yuichiro and Yoichi’s reasons for joining the demon army are almost identical but how their personalities deal with it is what makes it stand out.

CONS: Is it me or does Mika’s side story seem like a waste on this episode, I felt that it took away from the flow of this episode.Yuichiro’s character really should start moving away from the hardheaded, pissed off loner soon…it’s getting a little tiresome.
