Countdown to the New Year w/ @mintdeception & @mintbinary

Sharon watched closely as the clock hit 11 PM, just one hour left till the new year. It had been one of the most eventful years of her entire life, you could say that much. She went from being just a normal girl trying to survive college, to the impromptu manager of an upcoming K-pop band.

“Shall we get to the dessert now? I bought the biggest ice cream cake I could find at the store! Today’s a special day after all, so you two should enjoy it for once.” ー Nobody diets on New Year’s Eve.

Xmas Starter - @mintdeception She’d woken in a weird mood, watching the small flakes of snow that were falling outside, one hand wrapped around her arm, trying to ignore the bruises that were beginning to form there, trying to push back the feeling of despair that was threatening to take over. She didn’t know what had happened - why Ray had changed as dramatically as he had - but it was obvious now that she was trapped here and after the argument last night, she needed a friendly face. Could anyone actually be trusted though? Sighing, she grabbed hold of a light pullover and walked out into the hallway, glancing around for any signs of life before she hurried along to Sehun’s room, already feeling slightly more alive as she knocked on the door, finding a smile naturally forming. “Hey! it’s snowing! Let’s go outside!”. Course she meant the gardens, it was about as far as she was permitted to go but the fresh air would still be rather welcomed.

        “oh my gosh-!! did i just get that on you at all?” she’d accidentally spilled her hot cocoa (a tragedy on its own account) but she was more nervous thinking she might have spilled it on the other-!!

He gave a weak smile, glancing back towards where Saeran had stormed off to before sighing and giving the other a small shrug. “I know that you and Saeran don’t get along but...just why do you both need to get into arguments all the time?”. He sighed softly to himself, “Like you were both were tricked by Rika...both had to go through a lot and both deserve some type of second chance so just why...why can’t you try and get along at least a little bit?” Maybe he was asking for the impossible but it never hurt to try.

Of course, she’d noticed since the very first day Sehun had arrived, how afraid he seemed to be around weapons. The boy who could be just as outspoken as Saeran at times - he would clam up over any kind of weapon, even something as simple as a knife. A weakness that he had displayed to the world and now one that she was witnessing right before her very eyes. Saeran may have been right, after all. Perhaps his faith was faltering. Perhaps he was having second thoughts about where his loyalties laid. “Did you not hear me?”, the Savior sighed a little, reaching out to pull Sehun back towards her when he had stumbled backwards, grabbing his hand to place the blade, “I told you to take it. You have an important task to complete. One that I can trust only to you”. She smiled, her finger’s lightly tracing his jawline as she softly tilted his head to meet her gaze. “It’s really quite simple. You’ve to end the life of that girl that betrayed us. I’m sure you’ve already seen the way she’s wasting away...there is no saving her. Simply put her out of her misery now and I shall be willing to overlook your own behaviours...for the time being”

As soon as Sehun had finished his little spiel about revenge and how disgusting of a kiss that had just been - he would find a fist promptly flying into the side of his face, Saeran glaring daggers towards the blonde. If looks could kill then Sehun would be six feet under by now. Any believers who had lingered around to see what would happen next had now hurried away, aware of the murderous aura that currently surrounded the white-haired male. “What was that? Do you think you’re being clever? Do you think you even have the right to be touching me?”, his eyes narrowed as he walked towards Sehun, fingers twitching at his side, longing for the gun that he’d left back in his room, “You are nothing but some sad pathetic bug, taken off the streets who seems to have forgotten their place”

There was a noise of delicate wood CLATTERING to the ground. Before Kouki could even react, the string that kept his beloved mask in place had come loose as he walked, leaving him feeling strangely defenceless and VULNERABLE in the second it had taken him to lean down scoop it back up from the floor.

He could only hope that nobody saw too much of his exposed face, quickly moving to cover himself up again -- yet as he raised his head once more, his eyes met with a total stranger. He couldn’t help but wonder how much the other had actually SEEN. 

            “... Don’t you know it’s impolite to stare?”
