Soft headcanons
I wrote up a whole headcanons post for @minteyeddevil but I couldn't reblog their post for some reason, so I'll just make my own I guess 😋 Also, these double as my personal headcanons that I use for most of my fics with the brothers (featuring a they/them MC):
Lucifer:
Likes to retreat to his study to listen to soft classical music and drink Demonus as he winds down after a long day (that part's basically canon)
Gets really soft and sentimental when he does so (that's ever so slightly less canon)
Just wants to see the MC when he gets like that, can easily be overwhelmed by how cute they are and might even cry if they've joined him and do something endearing in his presence, like fiddle with their hair or make a small surprised noise as they drop something accidentally
Mammon:
Always hangs out in MC's room as they study
He likes to sit on the side of the bed and then flop back across the end of it, hands folded up under his head as he stares up at the ceiling
He's not usually interested in actually doing his homework, moreso distracting them from theirs so that they'll give him some attention instead
But he enjoys their company either way, so he likes to just be present in that space with them (quality time love language)
Sometimes he falls asleep like that because he just gets so relaxed with them around
Leviathan:
Wants to play video games with the MC 24/7/365 basically
Gets automatically jealous if they're not online
Will send them flowers, rare crafting ingredients, and top tier food items in the MMO they play together
There's a way for two players' characters get married in said MMO and he's been planning the wedding in his head since the first day MC started playing with him
Satan:
Really enjoys sitting in the common room with MC or curled up on his tiny bed with them & reading to them
If MC rests their head in his lap he starts idly petting their head like they're a cat as he smiles gently
Maybe he got a pet after all 😉
Asmodeus:
Very physically affectionate of course, but he sneaks it in in small casual ways
Touches MC's back or arm lightly if he has to pass them or move around them in a small space, such as the kitchen
If they have an eyelash on their face his thumb is automatically sweeping it away
If they're talking together face to face he's got his hands in their hair fixing it for them, or straightening out their uniform collar if it's gotten wrinkled
Refreshes their nail polish regularly so he can hold their hands in his
Really enjoys doing their makeup for them (if MC is into that), because then he gets to touch their face all over - brushing and pinning back their hair, tilting their head around in his hands and holding their chin in his fingers, etc. etc.
Beelzebub:
Is gentle with the MC to an extreme degree
All of his hugs, kisses, and touches are practically feather-light - MC has to basically press themselves into him to get any of that nice and tight sense of contact
He's just so worried all the time because he's so incredibly strong and just doesn't want to risk hurting them accidentally by squeezing them too hard
To him MC is made of glass because he just loves them so very, very much
Belphegor:
Hates it when people touch his hair, it's a big sensory issue for him
It's so bad that he never goes and gets his hair cut, Asmo has to try and sneak up on him to do it in his sleep
(That's why it's kind of a mess lol)
The only exception is MC
He really enjoys it if they idly play with it, scratch his scalp, and/or run their fingers through it as they fall asleep together
