I think if I didn't have such a physical job I'd be way more motivated to go home and exercise or go to the gym. Chris has a gym membership that lets me go with him, so really I can go whenever I want (since he's always up for it.) And I really really like Planet Fitness so it's not like it makes me feel weird or anything.
But after eight hours of lifting heavy trays, 30 pound boxes of donuts/bagles, 50 pound bags of flour, dragging mixing bowls that you could fit five toddlers in, hundreds of squats from filling shelves, and almost literally running around the bakery... I get home and I'm so exhausted.
Plus I bike to and from work and right now it's far from a leisurely ride. Because of road construction for the last two months, there are zero sidewalks on the 2.5 mile ride to work so I have to be on the road and keep up with everyone else.
When I look at it, I feel like I'm so physical, but it's "normal" so I'm not losing any weight from it and can't count it towards any daily exercise. But it wears me out like any other exercise would!!!
