Physical Description: Platinum blond, shoulder length hair and parted on the left side. His bangs fall in front of the right half of his face and his sideburns are left loose whereas the rest of his hair is tied back into a high ponytail. Slightly tanned skin, dry and coarse texture from years of rough living, hands are heavily calloused. Eyes of cool grey and so pale they're almost colourless. Sharp and intellectual shape, it's less like he's looking at you and more like he's looking through you. The sclera of his right eye is dark (almost black), and he wears ovular half-framed glasses. High cheekbones, slightly upturned nose, thin lips, stubble across his chin and jaw to his temples. He's tall (5'10"), well-toned from years of hard work. TW: SCARS Rope burn scars on both wrists, small scar on right shoulder, scar across left cheek, beauty mark on right temple, black curved line and three downward pointing triangles on right cheek, TW: MILD BODY HORROR a patch of skin replaced with black glass on his chest. Wears a black traveling cloak with a steel clasp and black feathers decorating the upper hem, a short-sleeved grey tunic, a leather belt with a circular buckle, white undershirt, white pants, leather boots. Chainmail tunic, leather pauldron (left), steel-plated gauntlets embedded with Force Gems, steel-plated boots, leather pouches along belt. He has two hunting knives (10" blades), five throwing knives (1½" blades), gauntlets (magic).
Magic: Elemental spellcasting (ice, fire, wind, lightning), transport (40’ radius, one passenger). He carries Force Gems to replace the ones in his gauntlets when they run out of power. When they break, it takes a couple minutes to replace the gems and he’s left with no magic until he does. Trivia: John is ambidextrous and smokes his own hand-rolled cigarettes, of his own blend of tobacco and rosemary.

Personality: is fascinated with mortals and their ways of doing things. Hates being watched (his Caretakers are kind of the worst), knows a lot about myths and legends but not too much about actual history unless he experienced it himself. Tends to ramble sometimes when excited and taps his foot on the ground a lot since he has trouble sitting still. Likes to sneak up on people for reasons unknown.
Description: has a halo that he keeps dim and black because if he didn't he would blind people, has four eyes, bird wings made of weird flexible glass/light. Talons instead of nails but keeps them under gloves so he doesn't accidentally scratch something. Wears the standard Angel getup, a sort of jumpsuit with an open back for his wings. Also has a scarf. Hair is white and floaty, eyes glow purple. Short. (5'3" or so)
History: Created in the early 1600s and considered a child in Angel/Demon age. Blue's best friend since the 1650s and the two briefly dated in the 1970s, though that ended quickly. Has a crush on Shadow (unrealized) and works in the FAM library full time. Graduated from FAM himself fifty years ago. Has 3 Caretakers instead of the usual 1 because he's he Angelic equivalent of a bratty child and he somehow managed to avoid all 3 Caretakers constantly.

Pretty good at generic light magic, knows a bit about dark magic from Blue.
When severely injured, will turn into a white hummingbird temporarily until fully healed.
Is not the best at planning ahead but is lucky enough that things tend to work out for him anyway.
