#minty shiny

OLD POST.  I few years back I made a bunch of mintyshinies. Pretty much it was “if you could design a shiny pokemon, what color would it be?”  It was pretty fun, but I kept going back to Eevee, because so many eeveelutions meant so many color combinations.  I Made two Pokemon Breeders who were happy to breed eevees with their ideal color palette.   One was about bright, bold and bubbly colors. His eevee was a deep pink with gold. These kind of eevees were called pompleevees , a combination of pomplemousse [ Grapefruit ] and eevee.  The other breeder loved natural, earthy and subtble colors. Mysterious and humble. Their Eevee pelt ended up deep brown with hints of tan. This became the chocovee, a chocolate eevee.  But that didnt stop there. Both mintyshiny eevees had their own unique color palette for each eeveelution! So that mean 16 eeveelution colors <3

I got bored, so I did a shiny redesign of Rotom. I have never been a huge fan of the poke but I think if its shiny looked like this I would LOVE to hunt it.

This has been fun, so I am considering doing some more. If there are any you would like to see me do message me:)

Getting into the spoopy spirit.  Halloween Themed MintyShiny Pokemon.

If I were to redesign Espeon's shiny, I would've made them be a pretty sunrise orange with their gem a glittering gold. The eyes would be a creamy yellow like the center of the sun & the ears would be a darker orange. For Umbreon (my fav pokemon,) the fur would be a darker silver with light gray rings. Their eyes would be a midnight blue with little sparkles inside.

I would have made Vaporeon more of a sea-foam green, like the ocean and I would have made Flareon a dark blue with lighter blue puffs, like blue fire.

While I’m busy with Septembear I’m already thinking of future projects in the works. One of them? Make some More Minty Shiny Pokemon Stickers! 

But here is where I’m hit with a dilemma. I cant decide what new set I want to do. Should I finish up the circle and complete the eeveelution set? [ I’ve done a few already ] OR should I do all the starters from every generation of pokemon games? [ Yes, this would include Pikachu ]  You guys have been on my side since I first started this project... and I would really like to consider your opinion when I start this. Please, if you gots the time, vote! Let me know what you’d like to see! <3  I’ll stop voting by Friday, October 2nd. That gives me enough time to finish my art projects and collect the votes!

My lord, are you one of these mythical shiny pokemon I hear about? That pink makes you way too adorable!

PRINCESS: To be frank, I wouldn’t call it mythical, but I’m not entirely sure if I am or not. I know it’s not true in the cases of Arepes and Vulpecula, as from Vulpecula’s information, their shinies are not in the least bit pink. However, I didn’t think about asking what I’d look like as a Shiny. It’s not entirely out of the question.

PRINCESS: I know for a fact that shiny Skitty are darker in color. My mother was a shiny, though I do not know how she managed to survive for so long, I do know she is not what most Skitty look like. However, my papa is entirely different… He’s of normal color. I have never thought to ask him what a Shiny Houndoom looks like.

PRINCESS: It’s entirely possible that, with the mixture of my father and mother’s shiny coloring, that my strange pink color may actually be what I look like as a Shiny. Vulpecula, would you like to back up the theory or bust it?

VULPECULA: I think it’d be adorable if Houndoom was pink if it was shiny! However, sadly, shiny Houndoom are blue in color. I think it’s just the Pinkan coloration.

PRINCESS: Well, there you have it. It’s just the Pinkan berries making us pink.

VULPECULA: Also, thank you for calling us cute!
