Legend and Ravio in my Modern Bri’ish AU

Legend:

19 in college

Studying Performing Arts Full-Time course

Roller skates

Part-time graffiti artist

Before joining the Chain, he ran away to the circus

I only mention that because of Oracle of Seasons and Din’s crew lol

Ravio:

18 in college

If he’s taking ACTUAL college classes, then Business is one of them and maybeeeeee English Language? I don’t have a scooby what his third subject would be, maybe Psychology?

Alternatively, he could be taking a jewelry making apprenticeship

Alternatively-alternatively, I think it’d be funny if he was taking Stage as a full-time course and the items he ‘rents’ are props lol

He skateboards - very accident prone though

They play D&D and get high together (it just makes sense)

Koholint Island was a D&D campaign Ravio created. Marin was either a character made for the game, or an actual player that was in their group who disappeared/left/moved away/SOMETHING dramatic happened to her.

All that to say, Legend STILL hasn’t forgiven Ravio for that campaign (he was heartbroken)

Legend explores abandoned buildings and drags Ravio along to ‘build his confidence’

This is also where he graffiti’s a lot. Not in an ugly ‘tags’ way, but in larger scale art works, often inspired by the location.

Legend often stays at Ravio’s house to the point they’re pretty much roommates. Ravio isn’t local to Hyrule, he moved there when he started secondary school and is pretty estranged from his parents so it’s literally HIS house.

Legend - for as much as he loves the Chain and Time - has less of a relationship with the group since he was adopted late in his teens (like sixteen, seventeen). He stays at Lon Lon Ranch part-time, since he practically lives with Ravio at this point.

Vaati in the uhhh bri’ish LU AU…. As always textless version and closeups under the cut :D

Vaati:

There are two Vaati’s in the AU, just because I love to complicate things :)

There’s Vaati as in THIS CHILD Vaati, and then there’s Vaati as in Shadow and Vaati’s Father

Shadow and Vaati are technically brother’s, only Vaati and Shadow knew each other for less than a year (or max a year)

This is because magic exists in my AU and therefore Shadow was created in basically the same manner as in the manga, only difference being that Four wasn’t involved in his creation. Basically Shadow was born from the Shadow Mirror and that’s…. it

Four and Vaati met at age 9, up until Vaati’s disappearance at the age of 10/11

Vaati is dead in my AU. He went ‘missing’ after befriending and apologizing to Four.

Like Shadow, he also bullied Four before becoming friends with him. Both bullying incidences are orchestrated by their Father.

There’s missing posters still up at the time my AU takes place (when Four’s fourteen). It wasn’t made official that Vaati died, but Four, Shadow and Elso all know the truth

Eslo is Vaati’s grandfather figure in my AU - Eslo is his and Four’s mentor

Eslo also goes ‘missing’ shortly after Vaati does. Unlike Vaati, he’s actually still alive!

He’s a choir boy. He’s very involved with the church as commanded by his Father

Well, it’s less that he’s involved with the church and more like it’s a front for his Father. I mean, if someone goes to church every Sunday, they can’t possibly be EVIL, right….?

I rendered his character differently with watercolour pens because I wanted him to be more washed out I guess…? Or look a little softer…? Idk man

He’s also the only character that stays more true to his original design! Mostly because of his cap… but I couldn’t bring myself not to include it!!!!

His heels are also bleeding, his shoes don’t fit properly :(

Modern Bri’ish Linked Universe AU (but it’s just Shadow and Four)

Shadow:

Year 9

The chosen subjects he’s taking are:

Computer Science

Wood Work

Business Studies

Photography

(He would have taken Catering but he can’t afford the ingredients - you have to buy your own in [most] British schools)

He’s only in debate club to play the ‘devils advocate’

(and also because Four joined)

Sometimes skives and convinces Four (and Dot) to join

(Only comes to school for free school dinner anyway - that and because he gets to hangout with Four)

Smokes in the school bathrooms and sometimes sets off the Fire Alarms

Gets forced to take Statistics in Year 11 as an additional GCSE due to his bad grades

(He’s in top set for all his subjects he just puts no effort into his studying)

(He only passes because Vio forces him to study)

His worst subject is Biology (he couldn’t care less) and his worst ENGLISH subject is Literature

His best subject is English Language, which he lords over Four’s head

Four:

Year 9

The chosen subjects he’s taken are:

Computer Science (chosen by all the colours)

Catering (picked by Red and Blue - read my prev fanfic 🙏🙏)

Wood Work (chosen mostly by Green - no one had any objections)

History (Vio’s choice)

(Blue wanted to take textiles but the school said they had to choose an ‘academic’ subject. Vio won out with History.)

(In British schools, you can only choose so many coursework based subjects, hence Blue couldn’t take Textiles.)

Vio and Red wanted to be a part of the student council

Blue and Green wanted to be in the debate club!

(Vio didn’t on account of his opinions are always right.)

Four decided to enrol as one unit because Blue and Vio both SUCK at Biology and Red and Green both SUCK at physics - they thought if they worked together they could get straight A’s

They don’t really have a ‘worst subject’ because each colour has their own areas of strength, however no one is that good at English Language (they can never agree on what to write or how to write it)

They’re better at English Literature, which they lord over Shadow’s head
