leanne, i am in a shopping mall and they’re playing soooo many of taylor’s songs but my friend doesn’t like her music so it’s not as fun as it could be 🤷‍♀️ for some reason i had to think of you!! also i am on vacation and barely get to check social media so i feel like i miss so much new folklore related stuff??! did i miss something important??? send you all the love ❤️ ✨

michelle omg that’s awesome, i love that mall! and that’s so sweet that it made you think of me, ily 🥺️🥺️🥺️i hope you’re having a great time on vacation and are enjoying summer (i assume you’re in the northern hemisphere haha)! not much folklore stuff has happened, taylor has basically disappeared, but she did upload a new folklore playlist on spotify today called ‘the escapism chapter’ and said that there’ll be more playlists/chapters, which is pretty exciting. sending u more love ❤️❤️❤️

i don’t think this is an unpopular opinion per se, but there is not a single song on folklore that i don’t like. sure, i love some more than others, but even the song i “like the least” is a song i enjoy listening to. oh and peace and hoax should get more love ‘caus they’re amazing tracks with an incredible level of maturity & insight✌️

ooh yeah i totally agree, i don’t think there’s a single bad song on the album! and BIG YES, i think peace and hoax are growers, but they’re both incredible songs and peace is in my top 5 - i think they portray a really interesting, mature perspective of love. there’s something so desperately hopeful about taylor spending all of peace acknowledging that she’s flawed but nevertheless promising to give him her all, and wondering if it’s enough. and hoax is the most fascinating folklore song to me because it’s a really interesting depiction of a doomed/toxic/tragic love that she still can’t do without. the lyrics are sparse but they still really feel like a punch in the gut

1. Which book would you consider the best book you’ve ever read and why?

Probably One Hundred Years of Solitude bc is my favorite, but I also highly recommend Incident in Antares, The House of Spirits and Cloud Atlas.

3. Are there any genres you will not read?

I don’t think so? At least I can’t remember but I’m not a huge fan of science fiction

5. What was your relationship with books like as a child?

Loved it! When I was little I didn’t want to learn how to read lmao but I can’t express how delightful I am for my mother never give up of me and always encourage me to keep reading

7. Have you ever despised something you have read?

Yes. At the beggining of the year I read Lolita and it’s a disgusting reading although really important. I highly recommend anyone to read and keep your own conclusions. 

23. Nicest edition or cheapest edition?

Honestly? Nicest edition but since I’m broke for the last two years I read everything at kindle bc I can download a lot of pdfs for free lmao 

25. Do you enjoy concepts in books to be concrete or abstract?

Concrete.
