often times characters are given death flags, they range from subtle to very obvious. I've never seen it outright said like this though.

What if Gil managed to connect with Mio and see their past only thanks to Nevy's powers?

If it was by her will, why did she help them to connect? Maybe Nevy thought that if she showed Gil Mio at their lowest, he would be repulsed by the one who will gladly enter relationsip with her vessel.

But wether it was intented by her or not, I don't think that Nevy will be glad for our blue boy. Maybe she will take Gil under her direct control and hurt Mio, verbally or physically, once again, to separate him from everyone and be the only one who he trusts.

On the other thought... Mio is staying on the other side of the wall, while Gil is leaving with the gang. He is definetly going to miss them. Worry about them. Thinking, if he rat the others out, TITANouts can forgive him and Mio and let them be, or even push him higher in the hierarchy.

Having Gil's feelings towards Mio as something to manipulate him into obedience sounds like very Nevy's way of dealing with things. Maybe this is why their relationship is developing so quickly - it's her influence. But I don't think that Mio will be happy in this scenario and stay on Gil's side.
