"Hey, what kind of phone is that?" Aster's eyes are practically sparkling as he looks down at the other's device. It's not like he's never seen a phone before; he's become quite familiar with his. Now that he thinks about it... he has a lot of questions for this guy.

Deep breath. Richter told him he needs to cool it with questioning strangers. One at a time.

"It's really cool, I like the design. It just doesn't look a lot like other phones I've seen, that's all."

"This sucks." Lilith crosses her arms, stomping her foot on the ground. Something's wrong, damn it, and the worst part is she can't even remember what it is! The library was the first place she'd turned for information, but nothing here seems to answer her questions.

Memory loss isn't just a sore subject; it's not supposed to happen to her. Sasha's memory spell doesn't affect liches...! So why does it feel so much like there's something missing?

"And what exactly are you looking at?" She arches an eyebrow, slamming her book shut as she looks up at the stranger. Not a human, or any kind of elf she'd ever seen. Whatever, it's not like it matters.

"If you want the book, you can have it." Standing, she offers it out to him. There hadn't been any relevant information in there, anyway. "If you're having memory troubles, it's not going to be much help, though."

" oh , step aside , my fellow . . . er, fellow , " eugene interjects himself unwarrented and uninvited . sure , it was the easier path is to simply ignore and watch other's misfortune play out before him , but . . . wasn't it sometimes more entertaining to play hero ?? besides , this was a common cause for him an all mankind , were he to ignore the atrocity unfolding before him , the consequences might felt throughout the city .

It seemed the two little dragons curiosity had gotten the better of them. Gyess was mostly the one who insisted on checking out this interesting place called, a “zoo”. She wanted to go, but didn’t exactly want to go alone, and found Mirai to convince!

They went in at night since Gyess didn’t want to have to ruin other people’s fun during the day and ask too many questions. It was so easy to walk in after they scaled over the gate. How strange that they would lock it.

Anyways, they walked through the paved paths, passing the many see through walled environments full of different plants. It almost looked like it’d been plucked right out of the real world. Though Gyess was having fun, she didn’t exactly understand what the point was. Mirai was able to explain some things, including what ‘glass’ was. 

But their little adventure was interrupted by the approach of a very angry human. He shouted about them trespassing and calling enforcement to take them away! The two of them ran away as fast as they could, dodging through the exhibits, until they were finally able to make it out of the zoo. Sirens could be heard in the distance, but they were well hidden among the nearby bushes and trees.

“Woah...” Gyess was breathing heavily, as was Mirai, but it seemed they were in the clear for now. “That... that was almost very bad... I am sorry Mirai...” 

He puts a hand on her shoulder, trembling slightly from the rush of adrenaline and the hiked up anxiety. He seemed relieved to just be safe, and that she was too. She was grateful he wasn’t mad. Now she knew better than to sneak into places at night.

"Don't worry, buddy! It's just a little campfire! I need to jumpstart my battle endorphins is all!" Which is precisely why he chose the middle of a busy street to collect all the nearby litter and set it on fire with a match he'd found in the townhouse kitchen earlier that morning! He's a genius, he knows. Except... except, the fire isn't exactly supposed to go that way. Or that far? "Uh oh. Time to get this under control!" Garet flicks out his tongue in concentration, removes his gloves, rubs his hands together, and jumps in front of the fire to try to push it down with his Psynergy! It's working! It's shrinking! It's... it's getting bigger? It's too hot? His hands are burning?! HIS SLEEVES ARE ON FIRE?! "... AHHHH. AHHHH. AUGHHHH-"

The park.

The park was always a familiar and comforting place for Queenie to be in, no matter how nervous she was over not having much of an idea of where she was.

She was able to find some money, just enough to buy herself something small to eat while she passed the time. However, she finds that at the park... most tables are taken, save for one with only one person sitting at it. The table was big enough for two, hopefully they wouldn't mind if she just...?

"Excuse me?"

She holds her bag of food close to her chest, approaching the individual with a bit of a nervous look on her face.

"Um... There's nowhere to sit, and... I was just wonderin', can I sit with'ya? I can share my food with 'ya if you want! As a thanks."
