The recent ML episode sort of left me feeling a little salty. I really wanted to get a peek at their new suits, even if it was a butt peek, so it lead me to make a re-draw;;;; WHICH I NEVER DO.

This is a scene I had the privilege of working on from @chocoluckchipz fanfic - Things we don't say  on AO3. If you haven't read it yet, please do! It's a really nice story and I love it!

Bestowed Charm AU

Ok guys, ok! I heard you loud and clear!

I wasn’t going to share this AU because I didn’t think it would be that interesting but ok, OK. After thinking about it I’m going for it so here it is:

Basic Plot Line:

Felix and Bridgette were the original holders. Felix had to pass on his miraculous because Master Fu needed a guardian successor. He didn’t want to accept it but he felt he had no choice. They searched for someone who could replace him and not bring suspicion so they looked for someone with his same qualities. Blonde, green eyes and in shape. Adrien became the Black cat holder at 19, while Felix became the Dragon Holder.

Bridgette continued her role as Lb, constantly visiting Felix. Years later she had to step down as Lb because of health issues and family issues back in China. She gave her miraculous to Marinette - her cousin.

:cue the umbrella scene in reverse: Marinette met Chat Noir after an akuma battle when she found him standing in the rain and lent him her umbrella. Chat Noir/Adrien fell in love at this moment with her.

At first, Marinette didn’t want to be LB because she felt it was too much responsibility and just wanted to finish her practice. After joining Chat Noir in battle (because he needed lb) she, later on, changed her mind because of a certain cat in leather.

Chat Noir/Adrien details in this AU:

Chat’s eyes and expressions are exaggerated in a cat-like form. His pupils grow when he feels joy/love/any good feeling.

He has small fangs as Chat.

He carries two staves.

Chat admired and looked up to Bridgette/Lb and was sad to see her go.

Adrien wears glasses.

His hair is still messy as Chat Noir.

He trains weekly with Felix.

Adrien/Chat has a crush on Marinette and meets her by “chance’’ as Adrien.

He didn’t like/trust the new LB at first.

Chat tends to scold Ladybug because of how she fights akumas at first, even tho he takes it easy and lets it slide because he used to do the same.

Adrien lives on his own.

Ladybug/Marinette details in this AU:

Once Marinette accepts the role as Ladybug 100% she cuts her hair.

Marinette has a crush on Chat Noir but tries to keep it hidden as LB.

She received her miraculous from her cousin Bridgette but didn’t really use it for 2 - 3 weeks.

As ladybug, her suit gives her a sort of cape in the form of Ladybug wings.

Her ladybug has two yoyos.

At first, she doesn’t understand how her powers work so she fights akumas the only way she knows how, literal fighting.

Marinette lives with her parents but moves out after her Lb debut.

Important details of this AU:

Hawkmoth was defeated by Felix and Bridgette.

Gabriel gave his and the peacock miraculous up willingly because of his son, with the promise that no one would know he had been HM. In exchange he would help Master Fu with the miraculous’ protection.

The Moth and tiger miraculous was stolen a few weeks after. The thief fought Master Fu along the way, leaving a weak guardian in return, which is why Felix needed to step in.

Nobody knows who the new HM is but their akumas are much more aggressive than the previous Hawkmoth.
