@miriredsteel talks to me in all caps. She must love me.
MIRI. I CHALLENGE YOU TO A MAGICAL GIRL BATTLE. Draw your character as a magical girl in a fighting pose and I will do mine. Then we shall battle for love and justice! Or you know, talk about boys.
IN THE NAME OF THE LIGHT, I SHALL PUNISH YOU!
A red envelope is left for Mirianda to find. Inside is a heart shaped candy in pink that reads "U R A QT".
Miri would blink at the unexpected gift, turning the envelope over to find a signature or clue to who delivered it, to no avail.
With a light flush and a small grin, she'd giggle. "How sweet..." Before gently setting both aside on her mantle where she could see them proper as she made her way to take care of her ailing son.
What does Miri think of Daisy?
Miri likes her a great deal
She sees a lot of Reiko in her. She's honest and straight to the point, but she's not as dark or private as Reiko has become in the past year.
She also sees a young woman doing all she can to keep her family and those she cares for safe, and in that she sees the potential of a great commander and ally.
Who would you say is Mirianda's biggest hero in House Haethon?
Honestly? Other than her own husband?
Rhett.
Why? Because she knows what he struggles through to just...be. And she also knows that he does his best to make people believe him to be as intimidating, frightening and savage as he can muster.
But she also sees the good in him. And the very well hidden need to protect.
"Mama! Aunty Lass taunt me all about plants and then she growed them in my room and it's a JUNGLE now!"
Miri felt the smallest of twitches tug at the lower lid of her eye as she forced a smile at the swampy jungle now growing in her child's room. She had to admit, the blooms on the shrubs were quite fetching, and the way the sunlight poured in from the window through the leaves of the trees was stunning.
And yet...
"Oh that's...wonderful, dearest...I don't suppose...you could ask her to...move it...outside, perhaps?"
"Mama, look what uncle Resh taught me!" Robert would channel the arcane and create a broadsword of arcane far too big for him, he'd reel back to swing it only for the weight to make him fall backwards and smack his head on the ground.
Miri would gasp and rush to Robert's side, kneeling to help him to sit up and tend to his boo boos. After some consoling and many healing kisses to the boy's injured noggin, the lady would take her son by the hand and power walk her way to find Reshuv.
"Rehsuv!" She'd scold upon finding the willy former warlock. "Stop teaching my children things they can hardly control! Honestly, you're as bad as Rhett!"
