Mirror!Scotty is a liar.

Mirror!Scotty knows all the secret rules of the Enterprise. He alone knows how she feels, what makes her move like a goddess through space and time. He alone can navigate his treacherous way through the traps he’s rigged in the belly of Engineering.

Mirror!Scotty is superstitious. He’ll happily have his men fight for the Enterprise’s pleasure. He’s convinced she’s amused by it.

Sometimes late at night- or what passes for night, out here in the black- Mirror!Scotty crawls up into one of the Jefferies tubes and sleeps there, listening to the humming of her engines, the quiet, throbbing pulse of the ship.

There’s no one else like her anywhere in the galaxy. He’d kill for her. She, his cold and patient mistress, gives him nothing in return. And he, her little lover, would not have it any other way.

His eyes lingered upon the blade, lips curling at the slight of the female holding it. His tongue lashing across his cracked lips, with enjoyment, fire dancing in his eyes UNTIL, she questioned him. Amusement dissipating from his once smug features, the Engineer leaned back, though he still kept his head firmly above the female - to peer down at her, with contempt. How dare she question him.

     “Because if you don’t, I’ll do it for yeh.” He spat, the words like venom on his tongue.
