The media tells you to Wear your hair this way, brighten this, tighten that, go to this club, hang with this group... "That is... If you want to be considered beautiful, smart, or successful" With Mirror time... You had to look past all that manufactured beauty, fabricated happiness and expensive friendships and still find a reason to love you...the REAL you. Then you had to Write About it in a LOVE LETTER to yourself. You had to find at least 1 reason to love yourself EVERYDAY... Its harder than it sounds if you are honest with yourself. I was reminded, by our 2018 EMPOWERMENT AWARD WINNER ( you will meet her soon) that I had been unhappier with my life and my Brand because I forgot why I started this.
