My monk dwarf Miryn finally got her dwarven heritage armor! Plus a process video of my sketch
My dwarf monk Miryn. She’s Capri’s best friend. Brutally honest, you either love her or you hate her haha. She’s a blacksmith in ironforge.
I apologize, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable, I wanted to make you something for all the content you've given us, but I forget at times that every one enjoys fandoms in their own way and not everyone cares for reader inserts. Would something about the ships you mentioned be something you'd like? (Jsjss also I feel like i should come clean since it'll be obvious soonish anyway, tis I not so secret santa uwu 💖)
It’s okay!! I know a lot of people do like reader insert stuff, but that’s just never been my thing. Instead I have a couple of OCs that act as pseudo-self-inserts into various media (my Heroes summoners, Dian and Miryn -- aka the shortstack and beanpole -- who were also my Awakening avatars, among many many other adventures) and satisfy all my wish-fulfillment needs while also being unique individuals. Incorporating the two of them into things like Heroes is a ton of fun for me, and really my preferred way of engaging with media that involves a player insert. And neither one of them has any romantic attachments: they both have some incredibly strong platonic relationships (like Dian with M!Grima and Fallen!Takumi or Miryn with F!Grima and Aversa), but neither one has any romantic interest in the Heroes they’ve met.
Seriously, though, whatever you feel like doing would be great!! If something sounds particularly fun or interesting, please go for it because I’m excited to see it! for the record friend your identity remains a secret to me and you are also my hero
My dwarf monk Miryn. She is Capri’s best friend and worked as a blacksmith in Ironforge with her father and mother.
Sorry for the lack of good art, been hard to finish anything lately. I hope you enjoy.
"Help! I've lost my bird!" #VandyPrompts
It was too early for this.Again. Zimina rolled over and opened her eyes to Miryn’s ghostly stare. Thespirit leaned right next to the bed and pouted at her. “My bird! You have tohelp me find it.”
At least it wasn’t pancakes. After several failed attempts at waking, and at least one appearance fromKyreal to ensure that all was well, Zimina stumbled out of doors at Sun’s Peakto help Miryn find her damn bird. Though the living woman asked severalquestion about what the bird looked like, the best she could get out of Miryn was, “He has adumb face like Kyreal’s.”
For the best, probably,Kyreal had been asked to wait at the house. Zimina felt fairly certain thisentire enterprise was a scheme to secure some time alone with her, so Miryncould chatter about anything she wished.
Certain, at least, until theyreached a dead tree at the outskirts of Sun’s Peak, and a ragged, dark wingedcreature peered down at them.
“That’s it! That’s my bird!Isn’t his face dumb?”
“Miryn, that’s a vulture.”
“I think he’s amazing. Can Ikeep him?”
Zimina rubbed her face andsighed.

What if Wednesday question! What if Zimina stopped seeing dead people, just suddenly lost connection with the spirit world?
In the long run, Zimina would be relieved to no longer have herspirit-sight. It’s been with her since she was very young, and it takes moreeffort for her to suppress it than to use it at this point.
However, in the short term, it would be extremely distressing. She still has one spirit in her care: Miryn, and Miryn is particularlysensitive to being ignored or going unnoticed. Sometimes it’s a game that Mirynplays (and she thinks she’s the best ever at it because… well… she hasn’tacknowledged that she’s dead and just thinks she’s that amazing at hiding). IfZimina, the only person who’s had the patience to help her, suddenly stoppedresponding, Miryn would lose all her progress and might not be able to move onor trust anyone ever again.
So while the impact to Zimina might seem minimal, she would neverforgive herself for being unable to keep her promise of counseling this lastspirit that depends on her.

Swiftthistle, for Zimina (non-Mafia).
Zimina is a tea-drinker. She’dprefer to sleep in and not need any sort of hot pick-me-up beverage, but Mirynoften wakes her up long before she’s ready.
To keep from falling asleep duringthe day, Zimina will sip on a little bit of tea.
She prefers red teas, like rooibos, with a little bit of sugar.

A courier brings Zimina a large bag of heart-shaped candies that say "KISS ME" with a note attached: "Mina, someone sent me these and I have no use for them. I've heard that they're chalky and unpleasant, but perhaps Miryn will find them enjoyable. I apologize in advance and will clean up your office afterward. -Zrimgor"
It was a full minute before Zimina stopped laughing after she read the note. “Oh brother, you have no idea what you’ve done.”
Kyreal, who had summoned her armor and appeared rather wary of anyone that knocked, tilted her head with a whir of servos. “Is there. Trouble?” It would be odd if something dangerous brought out humor in the priestess.
"No, everything’s fine. Here." Zimina plopped one of the heart-shaped candies into Kyreal’s artificial glove. "It’s just a silly tradition, but a fun one."
As Kyreal turned over the candy to inspect it, her eyes flickered.
Zimina called out for Miryn. Judging distance, the Auchenai placed the bag of candies in the center of her desk. “These are all for you. Go ahead.” Maybe this would help keep her one special little candy safe in its box.
A few moments later, the bag tipped over and caved in as the mischevious spirit had at its contents. Little candies flew everywhere, scattering across the desk’s surface and spilling onto the floor.
After brushing some of the candies off the seat, Zimina flopped into her chair and rubbed her crest. Then, she squinted when the little hearts on the desk clustered together and Miryn shaped words with them. “Your… face… is d— Miryn! Be nice.”
Kyreal disapproved of the mess, but she remained still, pushing the one tiny candy around in her palm thoughtfully.
