Would love a headcannon on how Geralt/Jaskier/reader relationship starts! (Also congrats on your followers! 💖)

It's maybe a bit cliché, I admit but I still hope you like it!

You weren't royalty still you couldn't complain much about your life as the daughter of the major

However the biggest complain you had was that you weren't allowed to travel. Your father wanted you to stay in their village forever

The only exception for him would be if you married a man. Then you would be allowed to go.

But you didn't wanted to marry. Especially not if that meant to travel only from one village to a town. You wanted to see the whole continent!

You should have known though, that your father has already looked at potential husbands and arranged a meeting with one

So you had a date with him but you really couldn't imagine falling in love with him.

The man however found you attractive and nice and told your father so.

Thus he arranged a wedding

You were furious but your father didn't changed his mind, said it was for your best

Around the same time Jaskier and Geralt came into your village

The news of the arranged wedding spread like wildfire, so of course Jaskier and Geralt heard of it when they sat in the tavern

The Witcher wasn't really interested in this, Jaskier however was. He couldn't believe the father. Or actually he could, it was nothing that didn't happen often, he still didn't like such marriages were there was not even a little bit of love involved

So Jaskier convinced Geralt to go to you. Maybe help you run away

When they arrived at the Major's house he told them you disappeared and gave them the job to find you.

For the Witcher it was easy to track you down.

You stood on a bridge, looking in the water. Yes, you wanted to travel and you definitely didn't want to marry this man, leaving the village you spend all your life in behind just like this was still hard

Jaskier and Geralt approached you. You immediately had an idea what they wanted from you. "I am not going back!"

Jaskier and Geralt exchanged a look. It was the bard who answered "And we won't force you to. We actually wanted to help you. Marriage against one's will shouldn't happen."

"So you gonna help me run away?" You asked disbelieving. But they nodded.

"Also, Geralt had a great idea how to get your father off your back at least for a while." Jaskier grinned.

They told you their plan and you agreed. You waited on the bridge as they went back into town.

They managed to convince your father that you were dead. Killed by a wolf pack.

Your father was furious and didn't pay Geralt.

The Witcher was unhappy with this but didn't felt like arguing.

When they came back to you you asked them, if you could travel with them for a while. You didn't really wanted to be alone.

To Jaskier's surprise, Geralt agreed without much hesitation.

So you started traveling with them

Jaskier complimented you and flirted with you regularly.

You were hesitant to flirt back however. That Geralt and Jaskier were an item or that they at least had feelings for each other would be obvious even to a blind man. You didn't wanted to interfere.

But you started noticing that while Geralt didn't flirt with his words, you could feel his eyes linger on you. And he would ever so often buy you clothes or a necklace when you were in a town

You hated yourself when one day you realised you liked the attention you got from the two of them but even worse, you've fallen for them both!

On a cold night, Jaskier and Geralt then even asked you to lie between them, to keep you warm.

The next morning you finally decided you had to speak about it

"So what is going on? Jaskier flirts with me and you always buy me things Geralt. What do you want? I mean don't you...love each other?"

Geralt and Jaskier exchanged a look. This time it was Geralt,who decided to speak "We do love each other."

At this Jaskier looked at the Witcher with so much fondness and adoration, you envied him a bit.

"But we also love you." Geralt finished.

"Wait,what?"

Now it was Jaskier's turn to speak "My dear Witcher and I had already been together for quite some time but sometimes we had the feeling something was missing. Then we met you, traveled with you, got to know you and finally we knew what or rather who this missing piece was."

Your eyes grew wide. These two man in front of you really wanted to be together with you. You honestly couldn't be happier.

You smiled at them brightly,before tackling in a hug

If somebody would have once told you you could fall in love with a beautiful bard and a handsome Witcher at the same time, you would have laughed at them. But yet here you were.

Warning: Minor character deaths

To be a doctor was many things but it certainly wasn't easy. To be the CMO of a starship was again a whole different thing. 

When you work in a hospital on earth you don't really know most people you treat, but here on the Enterprise Leonard knew everyone. Sure, some he knew better than others. Still, it was a completely different thing to treat somebody, who was mostly a stranger to you than having a friend on your operation table.

It made the whole job so much more difficult.

Of course Leonard still loved what he was doing, he just wished he wouldn't have to save his friends from death so often, that they would be more careful.

It was a wish that wouldn't be granted,he knew. Most of time it wasn't even their fault anyways. For some reason missions just tended to take an unexpected turn downhill. 

Just like it happened today or rather yesterday. 

Today had to be one of Leonard's worst nightmares. 

Nearly everyone of the crew was in MedBay, groaning in pain, whining helplessly. They had all been poisoned. 

Yesterday evening there had been a dinner on a new discovered planet to celebrate the contract they made with the natives. However, apparently they hadn't been as friendly as it seemed. 

The poison had only started showing effects this morning and since nearly the whole crew had been invited to celebrate, it was pure chaos. 

Thankfully the medical staff hadn't been there, since they had an important video conference yesterday they had to attend. 

Or maybe, if he would have been there, Leonard could have prevented this. After one too many allergic reaction the doctor had made a habit of scanning the food and drinks beforehand. 

However, Leonard had no time to think about this now. He had to focus on finding a cure. The first people had already died. Two engineers and a security officers. 

Nobody the doctor would consider a friend of his. Still, he remembered the security officer having a crush on Geoffrey, always looking at him with so much adoration when she was here being treated and blushing when their eyes met. 

He also knew from Scotty that one of the engineers had great talent, potential to become a CEO themselves one day.

Scotty. 

Leonard looked over to where the Scotsman was sitting, leaning against a wall. There was a smile on his face as he talked to the younger engineers, clearly calming them down. But Leonard could see the signs of discomfort,of pain. 

Leonard took a deep breath. He had to work quicker. He had to focus completely on the task at hand, he couldn't let himself be distracted by his emotions too much. 

He was the CMO. If he lost his cool in front of patients and his staff, this wouldn't be good. It would only increase the panic and the chaos.

He had to stay strong, no matter if he would rather hide in his office and cry. 

Fifteen deaths. Fifteen lives gone. Before they finally found the cure. 

When the steadiest hand of Starfleet were shaking slightly as he injected the cure to Jim, his boyfriend chose to not comment. 

At least everything was under control quickly with the cure. 

Leonard was ready to let out an relieved breath, to relax a little but then:

"Doctor McCoy! Come quickly!" Chapel was calling for him and she sounded slightly panicked. It had to be something bad. 

He quickly scanned the room to find her and spotted her next to Spock, who was still lying on a biobed. He went to them with large steps, trying to ignore the panic rising in him. 

 "What is the problem?" Leonard asked his head nurse. 

"It's not working on him. The cure, I mean." Chapel replied worried. 

Leonard cursed and looked at Spock. 

The half Vulcan really looked like he was in pain. His eyes were shut, he was panting slightly, breathing uneven. The doctor had never seen him like this. It definitely didn't help ease Leonard's or Chapel's worry. 

McCoy took a deep breath before saying:"Okay, let's get back to work."

If they were lucky they would only need to alter the original cure a bit. Still, they had to figure it out quickly. They didn't know how much time they had left. 

Losing Spock, losing one of his closest friends, Leonard didn't know if he could handle that. He would only blame himself. 

However, he had to try not think about this possibility now. 

Thirty minutes. They needed thirty minutes to figure it out. 

Leonard was barely holding it together now. Worrying about Spock, having a nurse update him on how their first officer was doing every five minutes. 

Thirty minutes was probably incredible fast. Still, for the doctor it felt like an eternity. 

He was emotional exhausted, he just wanted to curl up and cry until he fell asleep. But he couldn't do that. Everyone was looking up to him. Everyone was thanking him. They are were happy and relieved now that this was over. 

Of course, Leonard was happy and relieved too. He just wished they wouldn't have had to go through this in the first place. Lives were lost and for too many it had been a close call. 

It was on of these days were Leonard wondered how he kept on doing this job. 

McCoy went into his office. He pulled out his bottle of bourbon he kept there and poured himself a glass before slowly sinking down the wall until he sat on the ground. 

He took deep breaths, trying to calm himself. He could see and feel his hands noticeable shaking. 

He took a large sip. He didn't know if he wanted to get drunk to forget or just to numb the pain. All he knew is that he wanted to distract himself. In his opinion this was the better option than just sit here and cry. 

Crying felt wrong. Everyone was counting on him. Everyone was always complimenting him on how he kept calm in MedBay even in chaos. So, he couldn't let them see him cry. He may be in his office, but somebody could come in any minute. He also still needed to write his report. 

Only a few minutes later the door to his office was really opening. Not a nurse was coming in but his boyfriend.

Jim kneeled down in front of him, Leonard just stared at the wall behind him. 

"You are shaking." The captain observed and gently took the glass with alcohol from the doctor.

Leonard tried to stop it, tried to get that much control over his body, but he failed. If anything the shaking worsened and his breath became slightly irregular. 

He hated this. Sure, Jim was not only his boyfriend but his best friend. McCoy still didn't like being weak. Not in his own MedBay. 

"Hey, Bones." Jim's said softly, but sounded far away. Then he felt two warm hands on his cheeks, turning his head slightly until his eyes met the so familiar blue ones. 

"It's over. You did a great job today. You saved so many people." The captain told him.

"But not everyone and for many it was a close call. Too close." Leonard replied, his voice sounding hoarse. 

"Still, I think no doctor would have done better than you." 

Upon hearing this from Jim, the person he trusted so much, who he was most afraid to lose, he couldn't help but let out a sob. 

Jim's hand left his cheeks and the captain wrapped his arms around the doctor. 

"It's okay to cry." Jim whispered and pulled Leonard against his chest, "It's not only ok, actually, it's perfectly normal." 

The doctor didn't reply, he just clutched onto his boyfriend and cried. Finally letting it all out. The stress, the doubts in himself, the fear of losing his friends. 

And Jim let him, was there for him. The captain hold him, made him feel safe,warm and secure. He whispered comforting words into Leonard's ear. 

The doctor knew, it wouldn't make his job any easier. However, he had a shoulder to cry on. A man that would hold him and be there for him, whenever Leonard needed him.

Okay that was really fun to write. It's open ended and only little scenes of it. But if I hadn't stopped I would have probably written 5k more 😂

No established relationships but I've went with Geraskier and McKirk

"Uhm…Bones?"

"Yes, Jim?"

"Is it just me or did something went wrong when we beamed down?" 

"Oh, I don't know, what made you think that?" 

"Well, nobody else from the away team is here and there is also this unknown woman staring at us like she wants to kill us." 

"Ah yeah, sounds reasonable. Though honestly, I also want to kill you for dragging me along into trouble again."

"It wasn't my fault, I swear!" 

                                         ***

Jaskier felt quite dizzy but knew he had to ignore or at least not waste time with puking when he heard Geralt swear and a moment later he heard his dear Witcher draw on of his swords. This definitely wasn't a good sign. 

The bard blinked a few times and looked around. 

The first thing he noticed was that Geralt stood before him in a defensive position.

After that he saw the four people standing in front of them, pointing at Geralt at him with…. something. Jaskier couldn't recall ever seeing something like this before. 

Three of them seemed human, the fourth one had pointy ears, so maybe he was an elf? Though his skin looked slightly green. Maybe a child of an elf and a dryad?  

"Who are you?" A woman in red asked. 

Jaskier stepped forward, ignoring the glare from Geralt. "I'm Julian Alfred Pankratz, Viscount of Lettenhove. But I am more known as Jaskier, the bard. And my dangerous-looking friend here is the Witcher Geralt of Riva, also known as the White Wolf." 

"A bard and a Witcher?" the woman asked surprised. 

"What even is a Witcher?" A man in red asked. 

Jaskier huffed. There are really people who haven't heard of Witchers? Even Geralt raised an eyebrow. 

"The captain and Doctor McCoy are gone." The green elf spoke up "I suspect something has gone wrong when we beamed down." 

The woman sighed, hearing this. "Then let's call Scotty. Hopefully, he can fix this or at least finds the cause." 

                                  ***

Bones was sure he had never been so thankful for the charming personality that was Jim. 

The woman, Yennefer, had only thrown one fireball in warning at them before the captain had managed to de-escalate the situation. 

Leonard felt like he should be more freaked out that a perfectly human-seeming female threw a fireball at them like it was nothing, but after years of space travel, the only thing Leonard thought of as abnormal was when both Jim and Spock returned from an away mission uninjured. 

Also after they had introduced themselves and promised that they meant no harm, Yennefer had got them some wine so they could talk in peace. And who was Leonard, to say no to good alcohol? 

"So you say you come from a different planet?" Yennefer asked.

Jim nodded and smiled. "Exactly. Something probably went wrong when we beamed down from our spaceship to the planet. That can happen. But it's actually a rare occurrence." the captain explained. 

Yennefer furrowed her brows. "Beamed?" 

"Ah, right. Uhm, are you familiar with teleportation?" Jim questioned. 

The woman huffed and replied: "Of course. I am a sorceress."

"Well that surely explains the fireball," Leonard muttered. 

Jim rolled his eyes: "Beaming is very similar to teleporting just…."

"Can we maybe instead try to figure out how we get back where we are supposed to be?" Leonard interrupted, knowing if he didn't stop the captain now, Jim could talk about such things for hours.   

                                    *** 

Jaskier was overwhelmed. Everything was new. The "ship" they used for transportation. The devices everywhere. The sounds. He didn't know how he was supposed to put all of this in one song.

Geralt was still listening to the conversation that Scotty and the green elf had. Jaskier had given up on that after a few minutes. Too many words he'd never heard. Sure he was curious and loved to learn more things. But he still could ask questions after he explored everything here. 

Well, at least exploring is what the bard wished to do, but after Jaskier literally only went one step away from his Witcher, said man had snapped: "Don't leave this room Jaskier!"

The bard rolled his eyes. What could happen? He would be careful not to damage anything. 

So Jaskier now stood close to the door. Geralt seemed to be completely focused on the conversation. After only a little moment of hesitation, Jaskier decided to take this chance and tried to sneak out of the room. As the door however opened with a 'whoosh' the bard started running, crackling like a mad witch. 

He heard a familiar "Damn it Jaskier!" but the bard focused on his mission of exploring now with mischief in his eyes.

"Bones!" It was more a shriek than anything else.

Leonard looked at him with confusion: "Yes Jim?"

"I was only gone for like ten minutes, why is Yennefer suddenly sitting in your lap?" The captain asked. 

"She said 's comfortable." the doctor slurred. 

Jim wondered if the wine really had been that strong or if the doctor had just drunk that much. 

"He is." Yennefer nodded, taking a sip straight out of the bottle. Then she continued: "I was just about to seduce a Witcher when you two showed up. So it's only fair that I now take this grumpy man instead." 

Now it was Leonard, who nodded. "Sounds reasonable."

"Uhm, how about no?" Jim exclaimed.
