@misakikaidan.
Oh, no.
Mitsuba recognized her, which was both a blessing and a terrible curse at the same time. On the one hand, that meant that he knew what to expect; on the other sleeve, that meant that Mitsuba really wanted to avoid her.
The issue was, uh, see -- when you’re the only two people (or, person and fox, whatever) on an otherwise empty street, it wasn’t exactly easy to just turn and bail and act like nothing happened. Mitsuba wasn’t really in the mood to have some crazy fox chomp on his head again, so while neither was particularly the ideal route, um, maybe he could. Play it off cool. Before turning and fleeing.
‘cause if he just ran now she’d chase after him to bite him for some arbitrary reason, right!? Right!?
“N... Nuh...”
“N-Number Two, was it? It’s -- it’s a pleasure to know you’re here in the city, too! Two, too! Th, the um, I’m just -- are you still a cr--” --azy fox? Can’t say that. She’ll chomp him! She’ll bite him to pieces! Why can everyone here absolutely obliterate him!? He was way too cute and traumatized for this to keep happening. “--cr...creature...?”
Yep. Nailed it.
