if anyone in Toronto/GTA is experiencing difficulties with testosterone (applicable to injections only - the gel, etc, is still being supplied), it's because the suppliers are being directed to give their stock to select pharmacies only.

it's a pain in the ass, but there are still places that are carrying it (Rexall, Shoppers Drug Mart, CostCo, Walmart are COMPLETELY OUT of all injectable options).

call your LOCAL pharmacy (not chain pharmacy) to find out if they are carrying it! those are some of the best places to check right now.

i love the idea of a trans peter but it makes me uncomfortable when people project it onto tom holland, a cis dude, someone very much NOT trans. it would make me feel better if people fancasted a trans guy portraying the role, you know? it's even worse when people project it onto this cis dude because of his "actions", suggesting there's a stereotype or some obvious identifier to trans peoples identities through their actions - such as dancing to a song sung by a cis woman. it's just.... it makes me so uncomfortable in my own skin as someone who identifies as a trans man to see so many people on tumblr referencing tom holland playing a trans boy.

does no one remember the Danish Girl with eddie redmayne and how insulting and degrading that was to the community? to have him in that role? you can't ask for, and try for, trans representation by hoisting up cis actors alike and letting them continue to portray these roles as if there are no trans actors available (the Danish Girl, Dallas Buyer's Club, Boys Don't Cry, numerous musicals and theatre productions, the list goes on and on)

this is hard to type from my phone so i dont know if i am doing a good job to articulate myself here but i hope you guys understand my frustrations when i see people wanting cis actors in a role to be trans. if someone is cis, they are not trans. it's as simple as that.
