Misc Hymenoptera Fantasy Lore

The sawflies' region is small, and many of them live in little agricultural communities (irl elm sawflies are herbivorous; the adults eat tree sap, and the babies eat leaves).

Random Class W lore compilation #1

(I might retcon myself later but here's what i got from my notepads bc I miss them)

Kinarus is called "kibby" by Fu sometimes and he likes cats

Nyrus is also a cat person and volunteers at animal shelters on weekends. If he was allowed, he would definitely have had a cat as a pet when he was young. (my baby boyyyy)

Rewriting and bringing back an older draft of Fu to only have BPD and OCD as someone with mild BPD and OCD myself. He's just extreme about preserving the Class forever. Also bc I miss the old beta versions when he was nice

Out of everyone in Class W, only Nyrus, Achane, Kaiori, Siora and Enath have no siblings.

Emerith's older twin sister was named Amelith. Amelith died in the Academy's entry exam and Emerith took her place. My inspiration here was Genshin's Raiden Makoto and Raiden Ei (I love Makoto)

Zelan's younger brother was named Vari. He passed in a car accident when a Crown's daughter fell in love and ordered mercenaries to kidnap him. The kidnappers had a car accident and all survived, but Vari unfortunately was killed.

Zelan hates cars because of this and instead rides a motorcycle. She says if she gets into a car accident herself, at least nobody else dies.

Achane's biological father is Council Leader Grann.

Siora's adoptive mother is Council Leader Lunith.

The other Council Leaders are named Klonn, Serstice, and Xyros. Xyros is the head of the Council Leaders.

The title "Class Leader" is interchangable with Commander and referred to as its abbreviation "CL" at times. Vice Leader is abbreviated and referred to as "VL" sometimes.

Each Class is organised into three hierarchies; Class Leader, Vice Leader and Main Members; with a cap of 10 people in total. Class W is the one exception with 11 members.

All Classes have troops as well under them. These are mainly consisting of local law enforcement, people working under the Council, military forces, or Classless interns.

All Class Leaders before Furona are not the first; most served as Vice Leaders and became CL when their leaders died. Others were Main Members that lost both their CL and VLs and had to step up.

Important Elf Lore

- the reason there’s magic in the world comes from the ancient humans hunting and eating the fallen Fae Deer

- Fae Deer evolved rapidly (over the course of about 50 of the 100 lifetimes they’ve been on the world) to be the elves we see now. Their latent fairy magic aided in speeding up what otherwise would’ve taken millions, if not billions of years

- elven livespan is exactly 1000 years, as all fae live exactly 1000 years from birth -> natural death

- part of elven evolution was the ability to eat and digest grains and vegetation, as fae are otherwise all obligate carnivores. Everything from the fae people to the prey animals are obligate carnivores in the fae bubble. Their teeth are structured similarly to cats, tho refitted to fit inside a humanish shaped skull

Other Miscellaneous Lore:

- the only difference between gnomes and halflings are purely cultural. They are the same species of people but one part of the population primarily lives underground and the other part does not

- dwarfism exists in all species so there isn’t a typical fantasy dwarf race in the gods fall universe

- there are true and false dragons and unicorns present on the world. True dragons and unicorns are the direct children of the gods bahamut and tiamat directly, false dragons and unicorns are any born NOT of bahamut and tiamat. Their grandchildren aren’t even considered true dragons or unicorns.

- Legend says that the first Drathe (dragonborn) was born of a human having a long term sexual relationship with the god bahamut and was therefore a true dragon by definition.

- scholars believe there is a species of half human half tiamat unicorn hybrids somewhere, as they would be just as reclusive as their non-hybrid counterparts

A Note About Races

On the world Oliarus (the planet this takes place on), there are both various anthropomorphic races and humans/human-like races such as dwarves. The split between the two is about half and half (this is to say nothing of other planes and the moon, more on that later), and the level of co-operation between these major groups vary depending on where you are and who you’re talking about. I wanted to create a setting where anthros and those good old classic fantasy races interact, oftentimes conflict, giving me some interesting story elements to work with as well as a more diverse setting,  That’s the plan at least.
