Hello tumblr, please consider donating to Dr. Hesham and his family in Gaza so that they may achieve safe passage into Egypt once the rafah blockade is up (more info under the cut)

I decided to join project Pass The Hat which is teamed up with Operation Olive Branch on tiktok, who are vetting and organizing donation campaigns for families that are still in Gaza so that they can escape, and while I wait for the family I’ll be sponsoring to be assigned (who I will edit into this post upon me receiving the gofundme info) I thought I would spread a campaign over to tumblr that could really use our help!

Dr. Hesham Qasem, a urologist working in Al-Shifa Hospital (until forced evacuation), his wife Lina, a dentist, had recently moved into their new home just a few months before October 7th, and were forced to flee so soon after construction was complete, their home left in ruins behind them. Lina was five-months pregnant at the time. She was able to safely give birth to their first-born son Jamil a few months ago, but their current situation is still incredible severe. It breaks Dr. Qasem’s heart to leave his home but in order to keep his young family safe they must.

By donating you are helping ensure the safety of a talented doctor, dentist, and the future generation of Palestian love and hope.
