Hello and welcome to the list I said Iād make like two weeks ago and used to procrastinate doing both edits to sacrificial and messaging a client back about plot stuff!! Because I have a job now and Iām still adjusting to the fact that Iām an adult even now after all these years!!Ā
Itās been a fucking YEAR. Even like for myself personally, like this yearās just been fucking nuts. And yet somehow I found the time to do an immense amount of reading. I keep track of books I read, and well, to make myself feel better about how few books I read this year (and last), I started keeping track of fics I read that were longer than 50k. After all, 50k is what NaNoWriMo calls a novel, so why canāt I? With that in mind, it looks like I read some 60 books this year, most of them booklength fics. Of course, the list I keep is not exhaustive, thought I like to think itās still pretty thorough. This year saw me starting to peak into other fandoms and read within them on ao3, and it also saw me return to commercial romance in the form of the Bridgerton Novels. There were things that I started and took to long to decide I didnāt like, there were things that I started a few times and finally decided I loved, and then there were things that I finished and allowed to haunt me for days after, when I couldnāt find anything that could compare.Ā
The list below is a selection of my favorites. All of them are works that qualified for a spot my personal ācompleted readsā list, so that means that, whether theyāre finished or not, they hit roughly 50k (or were close enough for me to say it counted).Ā There are only ten because I had to arbitrarily pick a number to limit myself to, otherwise I would be here just listing things for the rest of eternity. Also note that thereās a lot of mxm on the list! On this blog, we are friendly to member x member fics, and if you have a problem with that, you can see yourself out. Thereās so little I wonāt read that after a certain point, it seemed silly to rule out some tremendous and beautiful stories just because I was worried about people being earnest Twitter shippers. The same accusations of delusional thinking can be easily leveled at those who read and write member x reader fics. In the end, the intent with which something was rendered matters more.
Anyway, that is all to sat that when I love something, I really deeply love it, and I will attempt to scream at anyone whoāll listen to me to read it. Consider this me, screaming at you with love. Happy reading <3

Read for a truly perfect Jimin depiction, awkward and lovable Namjoon, metaphors threaded throughout that truly add to the story while being built upon in all the right ways, moments between two people falling for each other that I just think about all the fucking time.Ā

20. favorite fruit & vegetable?
I love bananas. Get a big bunch every week and eat them as my mid-morning snack. Smother a little peanut butter on them? Heaven.
For veggies, I love zucchini. Pan fried, deep fried, thrown in a stir fry, in a galette. Love it.
26. whatās your favorite season & why?
Spring! I need sunlight and warmth. And green trees! Fall and winter just make me sad because everything gets cold & dark, the trees are bare, the earth turns brown and grey. And summer is too hot! But I thrive in spring.

I just answered this one! I cheated and said three - scifi, fantasy, and superhero. They're kinda all related, so it counts as one in my brain.
omg this is so so tough. famous five by enid Blyton - it was one of the first books I read and really got me into reading for fun when I was a kid. I love that series so much! creativity inc by ed catmull - this is one of my fav books not only because its about Pixar but the leadership techniques showcased in it really made me into a better person when heading a team. A clockwork orange by Anthony burgess - it taught me patience lol cause that slang is something I hate with every fibre of my being but that being said, I think it was one of the first books I read as a teenager that made me cry (even though I hated I was crying for him).

24. are you reading a book at the moment? what do you like about it?
im currently reading nihilism by nolan gertz im just a sucker for philosophy books. I like reading about other people's idea of life and what they make of it. also I love how in the beginning he says that no one can really be a nihilist if they call themselves that because that means they believe in nihilism and true nihilists don't believe in anything. I laughed at that so hard lol
