i got stuck on my breakup makeup fic so i went to write on the fake dating au and the point is i got a good chunk of writing done today. and then reality caught up to me.

The sky is grey

The rain is trickling down

Softly

Slowly

There is calmness in the air

There is a breath of fresh air

On the days when the sun

Doesn’t show it’s face

On the days when it looks so miserable

I look up and see

New life is being brought down

With every raindrop

The grass is greener

The trees are brighter

The rivers are flowing

On the days when it looks so miserable

I feel relaxed

I feel calm

I can hear the rain drops on my window

I can see the pools on the pavement

I can feel the wind blowing softly
