Imagine, if you will, Modern AU Anders having to leave Ser Pounce-A-Lot to the veterinarian, probably for something extremely minor but where he still has to leave him there for hours. And he is MISERABLE, he is SO worried, like he can't help but imagine terrible scenarios. And eventually when he finally gets him back he just refuses to leave him, sleeps with him and absolutely cries while cuddling with him on the floor of his apartment.
