hey.. i just wanted to tell someone how i was feeling. i've probably been binding (im afab nb) for maybe 10 hours because im just not emotionally ready to deal with taking my binder off, so i was working myself down to a point where i could take it off and be ok, but then my mum came in with my cat, so i asked her if i could be alone, and uh well she then said to my cat ''we'll come back when SHE's feeling better'' and now i might cry so thats fun, she does this a lot, sorry if this was annoying

I am so sorry that this took so long to answer. With the end of the semester and finals coming so soon, I’ve been so busy and neglecting this blog. But I will be as active as I can be.

Anyway, please bind safely. Wearing a binder is much safer than bandages and other unsafe binding methods, so I really do commend you for binding safely, but 10 hours is a long time, especially if you haven’t been taking breaks at all! Please don’t bind for longer than that!! It can seriously damage your ribs and damage your chances of getting top surgery in the future, if that’s what you want.

Now, about your mother. Are you out to her? If she is purposely misgendering you, I believe it would be best to have a serious conversation. Tell her how it makes you feel and how invalidating it is to hear. Pronouns are a big deal, and some people simply don’t realise that and must have it explained to them.

HEY I NEED YOUR GUY'S HELP

Okay, so I'm not active on the Markiplier Discord, but if you are I need your help.

So there is a mod named DarkMesengr who has, on several occasions, misgendered my boyfriend. Several times right after him saying that the mod was using the wrong pronouns and that it was upsetting them greatly.

Actually, once after going into great detail, the mod stated "Tbh now I know it makes you uncomfortable so now I have a reason to do it." Followed by them calling him "Missy". My boyfriend does not want to be caught up in this, so he will remain anonymous, but I personally will not stand by and watch someone I love get hurt.

But let me say this, first. I do not want to crucify this person, I want them educated! I want to spread knowledge, not hate, and I think @markiplier can agree with me on this even if he does not see this post.

So please, if you are a part of this community help me educate this man, and if they or another mod has misgendered you, stand up to them! Hell, bring it to me or even @ me and I will pop my ass right into the server! (My @ is Jinxedjello#7260) Again, not to crucify this person, but to educate them while defending you or your friends!

Right now I believe this mod is just terribly uneducated on this specific topic, but if you have proof otherwise please bring it me or share it! If you want to be anonymous my Anon is always on. I want to spread awareness that the discord has a large LGBT percentage that should be listened to, not misgendered RIGHT AFTER stating that being called the wrong pronouns makes them "hate living" and "want to cry".
