Be My Escape | Enchanted Forest Verse | Closed | misguided-martyr
Sitting in a dungeon was not Emma's idea of a good time. ...not that sitting around inside anywhere was. She'd been minding her own business, exploring the forest when a few of the black knights had appeared out of nowhere. She'd tried to run- She'd heard enough stories of the men still loyal to the Evil Queen to know their appearance could mean nothing good. She hadn't been able to escape, though, and the only good she could see about being in the cell was that she wasn't dead. ...as though she expected that to last. If she was in a dungeon, trapped by the Evil Queen, there was really only one logical reason - she was to be used against her mother somehow. Oh, there was the enchantment that prevented the woman from doing her family harm - but she knew there were loopholes and conditions to all magic. There were loopholes and conditions to everything. She sighed, sinking down against the wall for a moment. She'd need to formulate a plan soon - a plan on how to escape, and how to stay out of trouble when she got home - but for now, it wouldn't hurt to rest a moment.
