Misha said a lot of great things in this 2018 interview about crafting.

"Last year Jensen [Ackles], my co-star, walked up and saw me knitting, and he just looked at me and said, “Really?” But I could tell there was jealousy behind it, more than criticism. So I’ll teach him to knit, and it’ll be fine. We’ll get through this."

I wonder if he's taught Jensen how to knit yet?

Misha Collins

I think Cas has gone through a big journey over the course of the show. He was a soldier of God. He was a minion of Heaven at the beginning. And over time, he’s become aligned with humans, and he’s never really expressed that. And I would love to see him just be able to say, “You’re my people. You’re who I care about.”

Other thoughts on Misha not catching paper airplanes (aside from “HE CUTE!!” which was a big part of it):

Misha is crazy athletic but you can see why he’s a runner.

I wonder how many of those paper airplanes they had.

I wonder if they chose to put the questions on paper airplanes and throw them at him because someone is in the fandom and knows that Misha has a history with paper airplanes.

I think he was considering trying to tell the paper airplane story when he kept pausing to talk about them and asked who made them but then he decided it would take too much time to set it up.

He didn’t care about how much time it would take to tell them all about how much Jensen likes playing dress-up though - he was determined to put bae on BLAST and he got all giggly with excitement about it.
