As we’ve established, Marta’s favorite color is gold, which implies that she is optimistic, fancy, and a little extra.

Marta can’t stand people who take themselves too seriously, which is why she and Ludwig would never work as a couple.

Frankly, bored. Marta’s at that weird stage between childhood and marriage where no one is quite sure what to do with her.

miss carr, please gush to me about what olufemi looks like and their personality because i hold them near and dear to my heart already and i wanna draw them at some point ;w;

For looks:

Adut Akech and Giannina Oteto are two faceclaims I’ve found that serve my purposes really well! I screenshot and included these three here because 1. I like the smiling 2. Olu is 6ft tall and I like the long legs in that second picture and 3. I imagine Olu in sweaters a lot!

They also have beautiful, dappled grey wings, but those are optional because they’re not always around and they’re also hard to draw, and I like to make life as easy for my artist friends as possible.

For personality:

Olufemi is loving, trusting, protective, and nervous. An optimist, they believe that everybody either is good or can be good.

They’re truly fit to be a Guardian. Unlike some angels, Olu has an appreciation for humankind and their world.

Their caring nature means they can get a little too involved with their Guardian assignments, and pushy because they think they know best, but their heart is in the right place.

They absolutely despise violence, and don’t want to hurt anybody ever. This is a bit of a problem when they encounter a demon, something all of Heaven’s training says they should smite.

Oh, and they’re also agender and use they/them pronouns!

happy wbw miss carr! would you be so kind as to tell us a bit more about the hierarchy and structure of heaven in your world - you mentioned a little bit regarding it in one of your previous posts, and i'm VERY eager to learn more!

Hierarchy in LiaHT Heaven

There are three main types of beings in Heaven: human souls, regular angels, and archangels.

The humans are just that: faithful people who have died and now reside in Heaven. They’re the majority of the population.

Angels are human souls that have been Elevated, a process where they are chosen by God or by an archangel to be converted into an angelic soul.

I talk more about the Elevation process right here but the most important part for you to know right now is that angels don’t retain their human memories. They lose them during the Elevation.

Anyway, most angels are Guardians, but they also work to keep humans happy and keep Heaven running! There’s a lot of organization and magic wielding that goes on there. But the bulk of their work is safeguarding the faithful humans still on Earth.

And also the Heavenly army, but we don’t talk about that. Olu isn’t part of it, though they’ve had their training, and they don’t like to think about violence anyway.

The beings in charge of organizing the angels are the archangels. You can meet the seven archangels in this post, but for now just know that they’re Super Powerful Angels and have been around for hundreds and thousands of years.

I suppose a technical fourth being in Heaven could be God, but nobody has heard from Them in... a while. Heaven operates on almost 100% supervision from archangels now!

And who supervises the archangels but Michael? We shouldn’t be surprised that he sees himself as superior.

🖊 + marta?

Marta has a tendency to get freckles because 1. she’s outside a lot and 2. she’s always forgetting her hat. Now, as you might know about 19th century beauty standards, freckles were not considered cute; freckles and/or having a tan implied you were a farmer and a hick. Nice aristocratic girls like Marta were supposed to have perfect pale skin. Marta’s mother, Countess Hannelore, is always despairing about the freckle situation and insists Marta put lemon juice on her nose to fade the freckles.

Andras’ opinion on the freckles is completely positive, and after Marta marries him she never puts lemon juice on her nose again.
