My dog, Dug crossed the Rainbow Bridge in April.  I have lost grandparents, uncles, and an aunt in my life.  I found comfort knowing these relatives were getting relief from long and painful illnesses or that they were being reunited with great loves in heaven.  Losing Dug has been a whole new journey into grief.  It hits me hard in the strangest ways and I start bawling out of the blue. Today I found Little Debbie Valentine snack cakes and he loved these!  I bought them every Valentine’s Day because he was the best Valentine ever!  He drooled when he heard the sound of the opening of the wrapper.  I know he had a fantastic life.
