So Damned True! In Most Cases in All it does is Causes them Heartache, & Deprives them of A Much-Needed Parent when they're younger; and then Continues the Pain, by Sewing Resentments, when they Get Older & Realize the Truth of the Situation (How Much their Father Still, & has Always, Loved them; How Hard he tried to remain in Their Lives, with the Mother Blocking every Attempt, etc....) That's not Even Mentioning the Betrayal of Trust they'll Feel, when Finding Out the Truth, if the Mother has been Less than Truthful in her 'Bad-Mouthing' their Father — especially if she's Lied about his Actions/Behavior! We made it to NYC! We missed our morning flight so we had to hang out in the airport for 4 hours to catch the next flight out (head over to @atdavidmurdoch to see what we did with our time). Since we were on standby we were the last to board... there were 10 open middle seats on this flight and not even 1 of the 20 people sitting next to those middle seats would change seats so my husband and I could sit with each other. We asked. I'm not trying to say I feel entitled to getting whatever seat I want... just amazed that no one offered (even when bribed with free booze!). On the upside I had 2 hours of quiet to write! So I've got some new blog posts coming soon! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Last night we walked around Times Square and then were in bed by 11:30.
