Our family just booked a 5 day cruise to Cozumel this October! I'm soooo excited! 🚢 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I've been on cruises before, but not with my children... So I finally got @atdavidmurdoch out of bed, but then he just threw me in it (he wasn't a fan of the clicking sound of the camera while he was trying to sleep)! 😁 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It's been raining off and on all day, but we still managed to get some relaxation in by the pool at my mom's for a while. Décolletage 💥 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We have three more weeks before our oldest daughter starts first grade. First off... our 5 year old took this photo (she's the little person above us)! She got to fly the drone around the beach and managed to not crash it into the ocean 🌊😁🌊 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We had such a great mini vacation in Treasure Island, FL this week! It was my first time visiting this beach and it's only 2 hours away. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The first day there was so much seaweed that getting in the water was just too much, it would grab my ankles and try to pull me into the depths of the sea everytime I tried to brave it (I'm not dramatic - you're dramatic!). The next day though, the seaweed was gone and the water was AMAZING!!! Crystal clear, warm, and so beautiful! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There are so many amazing places here in Florida we still haven't seen. One of the things I love about trying to post beautiful photos to Instagram regularly is that it really pushes me to be more open and to experience new things. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ***Serious question: what should we do next!? We made it to Treasure Island today! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is only the third time we have taken our youngest daughter with us on an overnight trip. We have been on many other trips without her because on the first two she decided that sleep was not an option (she usually sleeps 12 hours every night and takes at least an hour nap, but apparently only when at home). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So this trip was risky, from a sleep deprivation point of view! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ She was too excited to nap once we got here so we skipped it and just played all day. When it was time to go to bed for the night, she was asking for "night night" and didn't even want us to sing her a song. 😲 Hopefully the rest of the night (and preferably through early morning) she'll sleep soundly. 😴 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Those of you with young kids, do they sleep well in hotels?
