Though she’d felt like the only one still short a Book of Shadows, Faye worked that much harder to find other ways. Desperate times, surely led Faye to desperate, yet creative measures. The witch recently picked up a trick of the trade by the help of a yoga advisor, who turned out to be right about all that chi stuff. Tonight’s talk-of-the-town fundraiser granted Faye the privacy she needed. A project that involved energy waves, and ability to wield incredible power. If done correctly, that is. She wasted no time to get her hands dirty. With that, the brunette used specific breathing exercises and focus to suck the energy and life force from a large tree. As the rushing surge of power transferred in, she underwent a bodily chill. In turn, the tree had appeared to wilt at an unnatural rate, displaying like a rotten sight.
Faye gave no more than a moment’s attention to her damage, averting her attentions to the dark midnight sky. The energy she’d sucked from the life of that tree begun to demand a release; which Faye barely seemed to have control over. And so, her first casting spark in the sky went on impulse. It ended with the sounds of roaring drumfire, and cracking echoes.
