❖: 3 of your character’s top personal values.
Your values are the things that you believe are important in the way you live and work. When you define your personal values, you discover what's truly important to you. A good way of starting to do this is to look back on your life – to identify when you felt really good, and really confident that you were making good choices.
Exploration: the action of traveling in or through an unfamiliar area in order to learn about it. Faye doesn’t like to process things ‘in theory’. she is very hands-on, and appreciates ambiguous possibilities, ie: the art of witchcraft, and the world of magic.
Freedom: the act of free will. Faye is a free-spirit. Which is why she may be deemed stubborn when it comes to demands, or surrendering her energy/time. She’s not easily influenced, and therefore, does not mold herself to other people's expectations, regulations or perceptions. To do so, would feel too much like a prison.
Independence: to be a captain of your own life, and free from outside control. This is especially following all that happened between her and Jake. Towards the end of their relationship, Faye felt like every decision and action had to first be filtered through Jake. She was blinded by the reality of the way things were for a while, and failed to recognize she was unhappy and treated poorly. Instead, she grew into this obsessive mess. Her relationship with Jake is one of the most impacting. It left a life-changing scar. Faye learned her lesson the hard way. Despite the horrid memory, Faye appreciates the self-growth it enforced, and cherishes her unwavering sense of independence.
Resourcefulness: the quality of being able to cope with a difficult situation. Faye lives her life through the eyes of someone who truly believes they’ve gone through their fair share of suffering to last the next decade. She is intent on living a positive way of life, as an opportunist who strives to make the best of a situation. Making all some sort of winning situation to gain from. Faye has a talent for turning negative situations and/or thoughts into a justification that works for her.
Strength: qualities necessary in dealing with situations or events that are distressing or difficult; emotional or mental capacity to withstand great force. qualities necessary in dealing with situations or events that are distressing or difficult. In season one, Faye was always capable of keeping her cool in dangerous situations ( Handling Eva even in her trauma of discovering Lee’s body is decayed, appearing unfazed when Callum threatens Lee with a knife, and remotely calm in the finale when captured by the hunters ) She doesn’t stop like a deer in a headlight, no anxiety attacks, or hyper freak-outs. When it comes to situations that are personal, and emotionally charged, Faye’s tough exterior can be broken. She’s not too sensitive or easily butthurt. It takes a high degree like discovering her Grandfather’s corpse, and unresolved issues with Jake to mess with her. Otherwise, she’s quite good at self-control and therefore, can bottle petty things and reserve herself from opening up too much. Melissa and Tyler are the only two people who get to see the side of her that opens up. Faye has too much pride to admit she may question certain aspects of herself, and often even forgets to give it much thought because she’s not a dweller.
