At the risk of being annoying, I just wanted to ask -- how did you get involved in the film industry? It's an area I'm super interested in, in terms of being involved in like the art department and stuff. ;w; If you had any hints as to where to start looking to get involved, that would be super useful asjhskgklh
the film I’m working on right now is actually being funded and produced by my university and since I’m in lots of film classes I kind of just got recruited to be on the production crew
if you’re not affiliated with a university or a film program of any kind, getting film internships is pretty easy stuff. most states/countries have film commission boards or organizations that constantly need interns to be on various sets. you probably won’t end up on the set of a marvel movie, but even small films are super fun and a really great way to get experience. if calling a film commission doesn’t work for you, call a production company. you might have to pay for the phone numbers of some companies - for example, living dead guy’s number costs money - but most studios will let you in on their internship program pretty easily and for free, like nbc productions.
I hope this was helpful let me know if you have any other questions
