Throwback Thursday -- Week 51 (2018). Pageant fever got me thinking back to 2013. I admit that I'm not much into pageants and all, but some years back, there was one candidate I liked a lot and felt strongly that she would make it big. It was also the first time I was passionately involved in following her journey from the local Miss World Philippines competition to the international Miss World 2013 contest.
Back in October 2013, I saw her in person for the very first time. I've been an avid supporter online since her Misibis Bay stint -- a soap opera featured on TV5. (She knew of me and have interacted with some of my posts in the past. Yey!) It was the homecoming of Miss World 2013 Megan Lynne Young. Her parade ended at the atrium of the SM MOA.
I'm happy that I have eventually met her up close and personal. I also have our photos together, plus the poster that she signed for me. In my heart, she's my one and only Miss World.
Till next post........ ^_^
